Fully planted 5g Fluval Chi I set up. Plants are Anubias nana, S. Repens, and Java moss.

I worked six years at a technical helpdesk. In my case it was Imgur which kept me sane.

They are so interactive. Especially when FOOD INBOUND wriggles start popping off. Sees the jar getting picked up!

Call center...that's rough, good thing you have this little guy

I'm glad I'm not the only person who wants a real tank for a beta. :)

Really nice tank

@op My deepest Sympathies. I would rather do Incident management all day than Escalations lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What is Escalations? Care to do a work stories post?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I've worked in a call centre, you and your fish are saints.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not gunna lie, read the title as "escalator call center"

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dude way to keep that water crystal clean that's awesome

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I also work escalations for the largest DIY retail chain in the US and they made me get rid of my fish. I'm really unhappy at my job now

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I work in Escalations as well. Booze does wonders. Dig your setup!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn that's a nice setup. And your buddy there is really pretty.

Siamese fighters are fucking awesome have one and he's very special called church (rvb ref)

I'd love one of these in my cubicles. "Sir, my Beta disagrees with that statement, and frankly he knows more about this than you" :D

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Good god, Escalations?? I didn't even know such a department existed, but I can say with confidence that your job is actually THE worst.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A step by step guide would be awesome. Is this easy for a first time tank?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I could do a step by step guide. Ive actually thought about doing that for awhile now.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That would be awesome. I am looking to become a betta mommy someday

*aplaudes for proper fish care*

imgur needs more planted tanks

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a nicely planted tank!!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did anyone see the post about the "ugly beta with fine rot?" I liked that one.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I made a post on imgur about my one eyed betta. Shame it died in usersub instead of that reposted thing. Worth a read if you're interested.

That's badass!

I work in a call center and you barely can have small decorations let alone a fish tank

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I work for a call center from home. I'm usually butt ass naked have a cat near me while I talk to you.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah man that sucks. There's actually 3 or 4 others that have tanks. The building management is pretty cool here.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But what if the power goes out or something & u can't get to him? D:

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Worked a call center for a bit. This would have been helpful for the bad calls.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

After the uncaring cold heartedness sets in, the bad calls aint so bad anymore. Been in call center 11+ years now.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was emergency back up for our call center for about 2-3 months. A LOT of angry people on the other end of that phone! Congrats on 11 yrs!

Good work heating your Betta tank. Far too many people freeze theirs to death in tiny containers

9 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

Beta's are tropical fish. Put them in warm water & they flourish. Cold water=torturous death.

Have a betta in college, it would act visibly different in the cold. Now he's almost a year old. <3 Arpeggio

My daughter was given a betta, in a tiny tank, for her 2nd bday by a family member. I knew nothing about them. Went out of town for a week1

2temp dipped really low and came home to Frank belly up. I said a farewell and put him in the toilet. Didn't get it flushed the 1st time

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

3damn fish started moving! Scooped him out, did research, now he's in a bigger, heated tank w plants and such. That was 2 yrs ago.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Did not know that. Good to know!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Despite being beautiful, bettas are actually incredibly hardy. The only thing that will reliably kill them is low temperatures.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh and diseases. Extreme fin rot and dropsy to name some.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, diseases kill fish. Low temperatures beat down Bettas' immune systems.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aww and the Nuka Quantum is a nice accent to his color.

9 years ago | Likes 239 Dislikes 0

... I didn't notice the Quantum at first.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If the fish's name isn't Quantum I am hugely disappointed.

9 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

I mistook it as a lava lamp first

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice fish but what is that bottle and is it dirty or is that part of the packaging design?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

this bottle from the bottom

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it actually is Nuka Quantum (I can't tell) then it's the design. It's a thing from the fallout games

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I see. Thank you for the real answer

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is my friend makes them.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh cool! Tell them good job

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Epic set up, and that is one of the most gorgeous bettas I've ever seen. What's it's name?

9 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 0

Is nobody gonna ask about that dirty ass soda bottle???

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

It's a fallout prop.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

i never named my fish because i have no reason to call them. had them for almost two years.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So, it's better then the other bettas?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's one of best.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
