I made a thing!!!!!!

Ive been talking about doing a bookcase ally since before christmas and got a minature bookstore kit for christmas. It took me about 3 weeks to finish but it was an amazing introduction to minatures. This is the finished shot with the lights on.

One of the first things i made was this bookcase.

This was an ugly yellow color so i painted it blue.

More bookcases. And a few books.

The cat i had from something else and was orange and white. I have 2 black cats so i repainted it.

This chair was a bitch to make but i now love it. I replaced a lot of the fabric provided in the kit with stuff i had.

There were at least 15 of these actual tiny books that had stuff on the pages. I loved them and tried not to have them blend in with the rest.

A lot of the books are actually paper boxes with a lot of books painted on them.

I printed out a tiny picture of my cat to replace one of the photos. I wish my printer was better.

These flowers were super hard to make using 10mmx10mm squares of paper.

Oh god the lights. There were 4 in all and i didnt do the wiring right so i had to test a lot to make sure the right wires went everywhere.

Again made the chandlere by bending all the metal and stuff myself. Very satisfied with it.

Holy cow it works!!!

Now to add all the furniture and things back in.

Ive started another kit of a sewing room that my mom asked me to do. Ive started planing some other things too. Minatures rock!
