hultafors consistantly makes pretty, high quality, affordable axes. If youre looking to buy an axe for a camping trip, or even daily use and dont have hundreds of dollars to put down look to them.

this axe is crazy. it looks like something from a videogame. I want to buy it just to hang on my wall

i dont really like double bladed axes that much but this one has such a beautiful handle that I would buy it in a heartbeat

Im super impressed by how well burned this handle it. Must have taken forever

A beautiful pair of axes

great axe for woodworking

why you got a pile of axes man? I mean goals but like...thats just a safety hazard. Someone is gonna trip on that shit

John Neeman makes without a doubt the most BEAUTIFUL axes, knives, bows, and leather bags I have ever seen in my life! And they are all handmade as far as I know. Very expensive, but very worth it. I only hope one day I own one of his tools.
Check out his website: http://www.neemantools.com/en/products/woodworking-tools

I have been neglecting my cat taxes for a while now. I'm sorry Imgur I have failed you

TL;DR if you havent seen my other posts: OP is a city kid with a love for nature and axes, but unfortunately has never gotten the chance to do all of the manly things he craves so he makes up for it by yearning over axes

Up there with chloroform, things i want but shouldn't own

The double bit axe was George W. Sears' styled belt axe. Axe-ually one that size is very useful. One bit for chopping and one for slicing.

I'm fairly certain #2 is from a video game, this one to be exact: http://forhonor.ubisoft.com/game/en-us/home/

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nope. That there's a hand made axe. Made by hand. With hands. Maybe modeled after the game though?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Yeah that's what I meant. I remember using it pretty frequently in the beta a while back :V

Are you a dwarven ranger?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have so many questions to axe people.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ask away

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well....I said that for the weak pun. But I am also v.impressed by the axes!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you an axe that doesn't fail check out a Finnish company called Fiskars.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Its a good brand I just don't like the style. I prefer hand made stuff a lot

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If you like axes so much why don't you stick one up your ass.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

handle first would be easiest. don't forget to use some lube.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Obviously, you've never heard of, or seen a saw.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What are you some kind of baby back bitch?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Saws are for meterosexuals and women

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just out of interest who does have hundreds of dollars to put down on axes?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Carpenters, people who camp a lot, collectors, rich people

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

This is all so axe-citing!

what in the world? how is that put together?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That there's a throwing axe bud. Too pretty though so I wouldnt use it. Probably would just hang it on a wall

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What about this?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or these

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Friend has that splitting axe. It works quite well and is fun to use. It's not heavy, but easy to control and swing with lot of speed.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fiskars makes some pretty good tools.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Idk man I don't really like modern looking handles like that. Wooden handles are much prettier

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good company though overall. Would just prefer a hand made axe

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh, I'm more about functionality and rationality when it comes to tools.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hand made tools are functional and rational they just look better

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I meant "functionality > looks", and rationality in that a good hand made tool costs way more than a just as good "regular" one.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Engraved & designed hand made tools are more for showing off, than just for the need of a good tool.
