Isn't this how companions are used in Fallout in general, or did Bethesda "invent" this?

I don’t have to run faster than the bear, I just have to run faster than you!

The game’s gonna blow; calling it now. No NPCs, no offline play, and no community mod support at launch. Fallout 76 isn’t much of a Fallout.

We have a joke when we go hiking. "What do you do if we encounter a bear?" /1

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

"I run." "But you can't outrun a bear!" "I just have to outrun you."

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

"I used to have friends like you, but then i took a bullet to the knee"

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fallout 4 really nerfed the Deathclaws. Forgot this replaying New Vegas. I don't go near them without an Anti-Mat rifle with explosive rnds.

Neither did his friend.

I don't believe you, I think everyone expected that outcome

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I was half expecting it

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I kind of expected.

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

for those saying this is for fallout 76, no, no its not. the FEV was not around yet, so no deathclaws or super muties...1/2

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the master was born the same year fallout 76 will take place...

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whole story was stolen from "Walking dead" show !

It wasn't original when they did it either

Missed opportunity to make wario.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Think of all the WHAS that would have been lost if he had chosen Wario over WAHHHHHHHHHHLUIGI!!!!!!!!!!!

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I’m saying make nora wario instead of second rate waluigi

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Plan B: (Step1) Use charisma and seduce the deathclaw. (Step 2) survive mating (step 3) repeat with other creatures until>

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

< you have a harem/army of wasteland creatures and beings. (Step 4) rule the wasteland as you see fit.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Wow. Summer 2018's harem anime looks great!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hard Pass.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yet another reason Fallout 76 will indeed suck.

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Or, you know, you should get better friends. Then again I could picture me and my best friends doing this to each other

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 6

Maybe you need better friends too? I trust my roommate to get eaten by the deathclaw right alongside me.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh no. We'd just laugh at each other or cause each others deaths

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm sure whoever died second of my roommate and me would gloat about surviving longer and dinner would be bought by the first to die.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In fallout 3 there was a tranq gun that would basically auto cripple legs. After that, you could kite the deathclaw forever. >>

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In Fallout NV, Lonesome road, there's a flare gun that will make a deathclaw flee for ~10 sec. Thanks ManyATrueNerd.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honest hearts adds a laser gun that paralyzes on crit

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wouldn’t mind a co-op Fallout.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You mean like the recently announced Fallout 76?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That’s closer to the Battle Royale type games, though

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't think its battle royale style at all.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How is it anything like a battle royale, other than being multiplayer?

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'd say its more like Rust. This isn't better.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Pete Hines has said it isn't like Rust, specifically calling that that game out as an example of what it won't be

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You heard wrong, then. It's more of a survival game, and you're not forced to participate in PvP.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Not forced to participate in PvP" and "Always Online Multiplayer" are contradictory statements IMHO

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well... Diablo 3?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They haven't said how exactly they're going to do it, but they did say there is come way of choosing if you want to or not.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

After many years I'm finally going to go play new Vegas. I've only played 2 and 4

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

When you get to the gambling town south of the village where you start, you can make a lot of money from a glitchy slot machine.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do it. Best of the franchise by far and more of a Fallout 3 than Fallout 3 is.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll want to get mods. There is one, can't remember the name but very popular, that adds QOL changes like sprinting in.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You’re thinking of Project Nevada and Solid Project.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Project Nevada. Yep that's the one.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In counterpoint to the other comment: New Vegas has a heavier focus on the RPG side rather than the FPS side. It preserved the soul (1/2)

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

of Fallout vastly better than 4 did. It's an older game though, and its age shows. But it's FAR superior to 4 in many aspects despite it 2/2

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

4 just has too much going on. The building stuff is ok. But just far too many settlements and generic quests. A single settlement for the

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

sole survivor and some better quests would have made a dramatic difference I think.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please mention the weapons as well. FNV with over 200 (unique included) weapons would easily please any weapon enthusiasts out there.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They promised the building would be optional, iirc. Was disappointed when i found out it was mandatory for most quests.

Also when my wife and I first played seven days to die... The first night 7 we got caught in the open.

7 years ago | Likes 163 Dislikes 0

I leg-crippled my wife's character with the last bullet in my pistol and booked it while the horde ate her. I died two minutes later

Not hard if you cheese the hordes with a giant pit trap, lined with spikes, barbed wire and rotating blade traps.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Then you can afford to spend time building a garden for good food.
