Fastest

As a rather large mamal myself I can definitely sprint, and beat people half my size, but I've got no stamina when running.

Big guys can run too.

I went to a track camp while in HS and ended up in a race against Joe Thomas, Badger lineman at the time, and he dusted most of the racers

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was similar to that kid when I was in school, quite unfit. did a 100m sprint with fastest kids in school and won, they were amazed.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

of course, the difference was they were able to go another round, while I was lying on the floor dying after the end.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Growing up my bigger bud was faster than me he just couldnt run too far

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you even know what inertia is?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, if he won.. then people would expect too much out of him in the future.

Doctors did a study years ago and found that a lot of athletes who appeared fat were in fact in great shape. Triathletes and 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

2/2 long distance swimmers they studies looked fat but were mostly muscle. Opera singer also look fat but have incredible lungs + diaphragm.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Look at strongmen, they have guts. For one, they have a giant abs that kinda fuse into a mega-ab and a decent fat layer which is good in

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The correft ratio. Being super cut is horrible for your body

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"The big ab"

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm wasted on cross-country! We dwarves are natural sprinters! Very dangerous over short distances!

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hammy'd another knee

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Watch at the end. Grabs back of leg.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For every pound you lose, its three pounds of pressure off your knees

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 4

I thought it was 10

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No. It's one for one. Maybe divided across the knees or increased by sprinting, but if you pick up 10lb you add 10lb pressure to knees.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Force = mass x acceleration. So unless you are standing still it's not one for one.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Really?

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

%60 of the time it works every time

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There was a study that showed that if you lose weight knee pain lessens.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I know that, but is it really a 1 to 3 ratio?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Force = mass x acceleration so it depends how fast you are going. Usually it's about double, from memory

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’ve heard it as high as 4:1. Leverage is pretty cool.

Not with an ACL tear before graduation

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

I damn sure wouldn't want to face him on a pulling block.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not if he keeps pulling hammies

5 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

D-line, OL doesn't move very far.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Watch David Decastro on a run play

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Olinemen move just as much as Dlineman. Have you never seen an Olineman 10+ yards down field blocking on run plays or screens?

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I was a pulling guard, actually, so I moved further than any of them. Most plays the average OL position moves about 5yd max. They are ->

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The slowest guys on the field and usually the first to start falling out when conditioning runs start. DL doesn't have the advantage of ->

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Knowing when and where the ball is going to move, must react and penetrate the OL, then chase after the ball if successful. Run plays have>

Someone didn't stretch properly before running

5 years ago | Likes 682 Dislikes 19

Could be a cramp from electrolyte imbalance or even an injury from over exertion.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure stretching is the answer. I've always gone for a light jog before my full sprinting- and never pulled any muscle.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

*Simeone

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're not meant to stretch before running, can lead to injury. You are meant to warm up though.

5 years ago | Likes 171 Dislikes 9

Yup yup warm up before running or weight lifting but always stretch afterward to help prevent soreness or cramping.

5 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

WHAT?

5 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 3

You warm up your muscles before exercise, but stretch after exercise, when they’re nice and warm. Lots of disagreement on this subject, tho.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yup

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

There is no evidence that static stretches before physical activity reduces injury. There is a little that suggests it can increase it. 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 1

Dynamic stretches and warming up might help with performance, but there's still plenty of research to be done on that side.

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

But a warm up is always adviced. Strechting is when you end a training or mildley when you wanna preform
