With good intentions, of course.
Edit:
think people are getting the wrong idea. I was sent a gift. What i meant to say that even if I didn't receive a gift, the idea if getting a gift was good enough for me. Also you feel better when you give stuff to people.
p.s. I think I may have used the wrong meme. so sorry :(

How exactly does one join the secret Santa gift giving thingamabob?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've been happy just watching other people participating! It's so fun!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same here

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No shit! I didn't get anything the past 4 years!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think this is supposed to be the unpopular opinion puffin since it made it out of usersub.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed. I still haven't gotten mine

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just can't believe some people are dissatisfied with their gifts.. when who knows what a person had to do in order to obtain them. :/

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck off cunt

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Honestly. Thank you. +1 @OP.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

Well then make people like you already

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But @OP you already have the greatest gift of all! #Life

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

It's kind of ridiculous that people are bitching about that. They should be grateful that their Santa followed through. Selfish people.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mine was a pet rock with the rock removed. So it was a box that said pet rock and some straw haha

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think people are getting it all wrong. What about the joy of giving?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I like that too

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I cant wait to see my brother open his George Forman grill... He keeps talking about my mom's grill.... I am so excited to see him open it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same here, would of done it but can barely afford to buy my daughters presents

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Using the wrong meme like this is like kicking a beehive full of down-voting bees.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey, at least you didn't write "would of", so you got that going for you. Which is nice.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A chick was complaining she got a buttplug. the only thing in her profile? An album of her giving a bj. You work with what you got, people.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

One guy got the buttplug/foxtail because his interests were "cocktails" I mean its obviously a gag gift but I dont think appropriate for SS

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

You're wrong. That's perfect.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

If I could afford it I would have offered to participate.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty brutal confession @OP. I'm not sure how you live with yourself

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So true i did a secret santa on fb and got nothing so the fact that people on here worked so hard to make sure everyone was properly matched

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And actually got gifts at is great

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was in on the secret Santa last year. My gift never came

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you are even slightly disappointed that a stranger on the internet sent you something they thought you'd like, you suck as a person.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But what if they put effort into making sure you don't like it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I totes agree, that anyone would send someone something out of the kindness of their heart is more than enough reason to be grateful, and

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whoever wasn't appreciative and made a fucking POST ON IMGUR about it for their SS to see owes them a sincere apology, stat

This one is fake. Account was created recently, and has no history besides this post.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also the pictures were on twitter 2014

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Naw, it was one where they messaged each other when the receiver got their gift. they basically said that they had better gifts last year.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I know the one ur talking about. He was just mad the recipient didn't even say thank you & instead basically said the gifts sucked.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's a pretty intense confession. Hope you can live with that the rest of your imgur life.

(Original comment)probably or probably not. I come from a poor family, so I appreciate every gift I get.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

Whoa

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Lol what did it say? Its deleted now.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

The world may never know.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It was a comment I made that sounded pouty.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

You're...you're not talking about the guy who got the dreamcast filled with rotted locusts right?

9 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

Looks like that could be fake post.Acct was just made today...so hoping for the best here...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would be soooooooo pissed!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Looks like the dude's account was created yesterday and that's the only post... Good chance it's fake

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

no. but oh god.

9 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 2

The guy who just got a solid brick?

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Honestly if I got a brick from a secret santa, I'd think at first, that's odd. Then probably laugh a little bit. Just nice to be sent a gift

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Naw, it was one where they messaged each other when the receiver got their gift. they basically said that they had better gifts last year.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Dick, it's not about gift it's about the community. I'm happy to get anything that people put thought into and were able to send me.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

As a poor college student, I appreciate that sentiment.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As someone who has very little money, seeing all these huge presents being given worries me that my SS won't like their gift..

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

I'm sure they will! ...You didn't send them a ball python, right?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I personally would've been happy getting a ball python in the mail. They have puppy mouths

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

If the recipient is a true imgurian then they will love whatever you sent them!

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

More so, it worries me that people are ready to throw $100-200 into a secret santa gift. Put some of that into charity or something, ffs :D

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Anything for points, right?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Honestly, I don’t look into the recipients here, but maybe they are having a terrible year and these Santa’s are helping them out.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is crazy you should need worry because some inconsiderate jerk would post about not liking their gift. Whatever you sent will be

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Appreciated because surely there aren't two people on imgur who are so ugly

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Inside*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same here. I hope they liked the books I sent. And that they're not disappointed I just sent books.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What books did you send? I thought about sending mine Ready Player One.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I sent Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, Kindred by Octavia Butler, and The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. Also a "destroy this book" book.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And since I'm from Texas, I added in a Whataburger number!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You've answered my question but raised another. A "destroy this book" book? Google says "wreck this journal"? Good choices, btw.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it is one of those. They look like a lot of fun
