Have an upvote. For science. You monster.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

This is just a buzzfeed post...

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Didn't get #8 till i read it in my most mocking impression of an american accent

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"I'm disgusted by my ability to get this" We're all so impressed you passed high school chemistry...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Frankly, the thought of a timeraptor is pretty terrifying.

#10 took me a little too long to get.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel bad and amazing at the same time for understanding all of these

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I laugh-cried not because I understand all of these....but because so so many people don't.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Sending this one to all my programming friends

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tumblr is a blight upon the Internet, it's users idiots flinging their ignorance like an ape with its shit. You still get +1 for the science

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

And yet this site pilfers at least 30% of its content from them. It's a vicious cycle.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#1: You are matter. What a bunch of fucking retards.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#9 Just wanted to add that I<3U

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fucking hell, WHY paste the inane comments along with the 'jokes'? "oh no I want to cry" PISS OFF

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

@BonerFart

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fucking timeraptors. Holy shit.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't understand most of these comments. Anyone who graduated high school would understand all of these.

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Yeah, you see a lot of "nerd humor" on this site that's basically just "I said a word I heard in high school chemistry"

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Most nerd humor is like "and we'll just let that condenser CHILL over there!!!" and then the whole lab goes wild.

#17: Sir Factant wondered why he was always the one who had to clean the table after meetings.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah... just as ferocious as regular raptors, but prone to odd fashion affectations and regenerating upon death.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Finally a dump I can sit alone in my room at midnight and laugh at because almost nobody I know will understand this. Wait..

9 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 3

It's alright! Keep doing your thing!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't worry, me too. I found all of these highly amusing.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I got all but the Barium one... anyone?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

bury him = barium

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you, good Sir! :-)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're welcome.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#12 is one I need explained.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

the numerator is the top number in a fraction, the denominator is the bottom number and there is a line separating them.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, yeah, I get that, but Cage has nothing Cage has nothing to do with it? I thought him or a movie of his were a math pun I didn't know.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think he's the only a fraction of you will understand this.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be honest, Timeraptors sound fucking terrifying

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

For real

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah... just as ferocious as regular raptors, but prone to odd fashion affectations and regenerating upon death.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sounds like something from Kung Fury.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

FUCK!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#10 It's not a bug, it's a feature.

9 years ago | Likes 227 Dislikes 3

Thank you for doing the gods' work.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks.

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

I assume the driver works for Bethesda.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

He pre-ordered a Porsche...

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Oh man, thanks. That one stumped me.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Thanks. I didn't get it because it's called a Volkswagen Beetle here, not a Bug.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Still don't get it?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

In 'Murica they call it the VW Bug, not the VW Beetle

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Lol, you've obviously never had to work with software engineers. Lucky, ahole. :-P

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

In software development, when a bug is found right before deployment, often times it'll ship anyway and the response is as above.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Devs can't or won't take the time to fix their mistakes, so they tell management it's working as intended.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Oh man #10... so many memories of beta testing.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Professionsl test engineer. It's not just during betas! :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't understand that one :/

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a bug, I mean a feature.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

In the UK that's a beetle, got really confused for a second then.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ohhhh thanks. I'm not very tech savvy

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 109 Dislikes 0

Upvoted the entire thing just for this shift joke

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Blue-shifting?

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

That's actually one of the only stickers I might consider putting on my car. I did not see it before and I love it.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This is hilarious. I have a friend that would like you to explain it though. I'm too busy laughing, because I totally get it.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Doppler effect. The colors of things you are moving towards shift towards blue. You'd have to be very fast, though.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I am that other guys' friend, because I totally have friends. I appreciate you explaining this for me.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Sure, np

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I thought the Doppler effect was the thing with sound waves being compressed at high speeds.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also works with light (which can also be seen as a wave). Light waves get compressed -> shorter wavelength -> shift towards blue.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But don't electromagnetic waves ignore each other? Crossing two flashlight beams has no effect on either.
