Depends on one's goals. I found both less than ideal for hypertrophy, but most people do need to build up that foundation of strength first.
I just know too many people who do this type of workout thinking they’ll get Insane gains. But yea you’re right, 5x5 nsuns a bit niche.
imo it's good for beginners, but mostly because you need to build full-body strength before you can get the most out of other programs
and lol I think too many people do ALL types of workouts looking for insane gains. so common to underestimate how long it takes to get big.

Those backwards tricep dips fuck up your shoulders. Don’t do those. Forward dips are fine, but those back things tear up your shoulders.
Several of these have pretty complex form cues that are easy to overlook b/c they're "just" bodyweight. Dips are for sure one of em

Yup. I walk about 4 miles a day and eat healthy meals that I cook from scratch. Nothing has changed except a hysterectomy and menopause.
Perhaps it helps to do more “intense” exercise, for example ‘HIIT’ training.

It’s funny because they try so hard to push that but as long as calories in is less than calories out you will lose weight
Tons of studies showing you can eat like a raccoon and as long as you have a calorie deficit you will lose weight
Wash our food in a stream before consumption?
