Making hummus and pozole for sneaux day

I do the same with limes when making margaritas. Too messy the other way

Had pozole rojo last night. Made a huge batch and froze a bunch. Mostly followed the Serious Eats recipe, but made my stock 1st with pork neck bones, trotters and onion/garlic. Yummy.

That... that *IS* how you're supposed to use these. Do people do it the other way 'round?

I'm ashamed to say I just figured it out. I've only used the thing a handful of times, so I don't feel too bad about it.

Oh yes, they do, and some get very angry when it’s explained, demanding they know better while spraying juice all over, every time they squeeze citrus.

Like… surely they’re joking, people don’t REALLY put the lemon in upside down, do they?

On many squeezers the dome part also is the sieve where the juice comes through

Your version of "many" and mine must be very different, I've literally never seen one the way you're describing it.
