One of the artists that I follow pretty closely, I love the style so much. Sometimes I just love me some dark aesthetics.

Many of these images are from a series called "Bad Guys".

I totally dig this look. I shamelessly bought one of those crochet witch hats from a FB ad and I cannot wait for it to arrive.

There's a real Pulp Fiction vibe to this one.

I can almost hear this photo.

I don't know why, but I love the witchy look. I might have watched too much Kiki's Delivery Service as a child. If that's even possible.

I, too, brush my teeth while going down to the lobby mailboxes.

These would be really pretty if they weren't all smoking. Makes my skin crawl.

tho the ladies look polished, slim & having boobs (if not a to young age) not such a big fan service like most artists do. the art is good.

Makes me yearn for those worlds.

Glad I'm not the only one. Seeing #1 my first response was minor envy, regardless of whether or not I'd be worse off. (Probably would be.)

#6 Now, kiss!!!

They don't look like they need instructions.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Something makes me think they have a thing for white/black haired girls...

Whom are also particularly thin with non-pendulous (aka pert/perky) breasts? Yeah not sure where we're getting that idea from!

Great art but why they gotta be smoking?

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 11

It's from a series called "Bad Guys". That's mostly gang member looking ladies. I also noticed that a LOT of them are smoking haha

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Because that is how the artist drew them.

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Not even the drawings are allowed to smoke anymore.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

It's funny being censorship has been one of the most helpful things in promoting smoking.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why wouldn't they be?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Is...is smoking in art taboo or something?

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

No, but many artists do shy away from it because reasons. The tobacco industry sucks and it's becoming less culturally relevant.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It'll still retain historical value and the meanings behind it, too.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wow wish I had talent like that Holy fuck

5 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Practice practice, I sucked at painting when I started out.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So practice. All it takes is a few hundred hours of not being able to draw the way you want to while trying to find ways to get closer.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same here. The natural ability some people have is mind blowing to me.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Practice makes perfect for anyone but this kid started at 16 and by 21 he was helping Netflix make Ghost In The Shell. He's a natural

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With all due respect, fuck your natural ability. That is years/decades of practice. There's no such thing as inborn talent for art.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 4

This kid is 21 and started when he was 16. So in this case you are 100% incorrect.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No matter how many years I tried, I could never do this. There is absolutely such a thing as inborn talent to some extent for anything.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Both, really. There is a certain amount of innate talent for some things. That said, years of hours of practice each day carry more weight.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Practice definitely makes the artist, but I would never be capable of understanding drawing the way some artists do.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That's basically what I'm saying but I'm getting downvoted for some reason. *shrug* I was just saying that they're a natural talent.
