I didn’t realize Tucker Carlson was from Delaware.

I feel bad for all the state that still don't know whodunnit...

5 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 2

The Texas killer corrl had 2 teen age accomplices. One died this past May of covid while serving a life sentence in Texas. He was 65.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean Corona was bad but i wouldve thought on "prolific" scale, Zodiac or Kemper recieved extensive coverage

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Corona was accused of around 50 and convicted of 25. Lake and Ng probably killed around 50 as well but the evidence wasn't there.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

John Joubert (Maine) also tortured & killed two paper boys while at Offutt AFB in Bellevue, NE. SIL's dad worked on base with him.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My aunt worked with the Green River killer. She worked at a long-term home for battered women. He was the landscaper. True story.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Because of him they have taken up a strictly no men allowed on the premises policy.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

It's weird that I was proud of my state being in the top, yes? #toocompetative

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Whoo! Michigan!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why does Steven Brian Pennell look familiar?

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 6

I thought I was the only one that noticed that resemblance

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Carrol Edward Cole got Iowa and Nevada? Way to over achieve.

5 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 0

Should we really glorify these psychos?

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Interesting af though

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These people should be buried and forgotten.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why is this a thing??? It’s like a hall of fame for them... isn’t the point to not make them more famous?

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Where is the picture of an orange?

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Kinda feel like Trump should be on here by proxy

5 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 20

DC isn’t a state (yet) but that should count

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Over 140k divided by 52 is still a whole lot more than anyone else on this list... also people in general are just the worst human beings.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

The worst part these things are the one WE know about. I heard somewhere there about 50 to 100 serial killers in USA alone. No wonder.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Isn't it crazy that you and I know exactly where 2 of them are?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Given a lot of them target prostitutes and transient workers - people society don't give a rat's ass abut.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So, is Trump NY or Florida, or perhaps DC since he's living there while doing all his murders?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The dude from Delaware looks disturbingly familiar

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#1. Jospeh Roy Metheny looks exactly what Id expect someone with "meth" in their name to look like..

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

The BBQ was second to none, though!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure the Golden State Killer/East Area Rapist should be the California one even though they didnt catch him...yet.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Caught but not convicted yet.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They caught him a few years ago. Joseph James Deangelo

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oh shit I didnt know that.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

His arrest opened the floodgates for familial dna to be used. Season of justice!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So wheres the Scranton strangler?

5 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 1

Branding. Killed people in both Frankford and Scranton, but Frankford had a better media department.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Toby Flenderson fled to Costa Rica

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Goodbye Toby...it's been nice. Hope you find your paradise!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

George Howard Skub......that’s a devil name

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Richard the "Ice Man" Kulkinski was not really a serial killer. With few execptions, all murders were mafia hits.

5 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

If you read his book you'd know he was absolutely a serial killer. He was also from NJ not NY

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I sure those killed people would be relieved to hear that from you.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Move over ted cruz, tucker Carlson is the route 40 killer

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Reading along... "Scheduled for release in May 2020" (Rhode Island)

5 years ago | Likes 151 Dislikes 0

25 years to serve, plus 10 years of probation, and he willingly agreed to be put as habitual felony offender

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

He got sentenced to another 25 years a few years ago for trying to kill another inmate

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Just read further into this cause I was curious too. Looks like he got another 25 years for stabbing an inmate last year. Still in prison.

5 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 0

Bless that stabbed inmate for his sacrifice. Probably saved several lives.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Feel like we dodged that shit matrix style

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

So close, and yet, so far...

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Yeah.. it's like he wants to stay in prison.. which I may not blame him if that's all he knows.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Giggling grandma? Wtf Oklahoma?

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

We make 'em extra creepy.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but I was thinking Oklahoma would be in the worst with Timothy McVeigh.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He was a mass murderer, not a serial killer. That was the distinction.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So, the only difference is the length of time of death per individual? It's still murdering people.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but this specified people who murdered a bunch of individuals over a long period of time. Serial killers. Mass murder is a bunch of +

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kinda surprised H.H. Holmes isn't Illinois

5 years ago | Likes 179 Dislikes 0

Holmes only had nine confirmed vs Gacy's thirty three.

5 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

The problem with Holmes is the lack of evidence. He certainly killed dozens, possibly hundreds, but there is no evidence on an individual

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

level.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Being a serial killer in Illinois is kinda like playing for the Bulls at the same time as Jordan...

5 years ago | Likes 114 Dislikes 0

Richard Speck doesn't even rate a mention anymore.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

1)The numbers were highly inflated by the media at the time. There are 9 they are almost certain he killed. He confessed to 27 but

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

2) some of those people were still alive. And his "murder castle" was also highly exaggerated.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

3)This goes over a lot of it: https://www.history.com/news/murder-castle-h-h-holmes-chicago

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

4) While he absolutely was an abhorrent human, he isn't quite what people make him out to be. He mainly killed for insurance fraud purposes.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I came looking for that but mostly his kills are unconfirmed.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

What the hell was going on in the 70s and 80s??

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

No internet no good security cams

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The same thing that's going on now but the media and cops really don't let that info out anymore. Only when it's obvious to the public.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Leaded gasoline. (It's actually an interesting theory, check it out)

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It feels like every story from that time has a hitchhiker involved

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The lead thing is even more interesting since the same guy also invented CFCs. Thomas Midgley Jr.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

IIRC, the US crime rate in general peaked around then, both violent crime and otherwise. It's been dropping steadily since around 1990.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

LSD

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Murder

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I heard the high crime rate then was a result of high levels of childhood lead exposure in the 50s and 60s.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s amazing how many are Caucasian, Middle Ages men

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 6

Note to self: Never trust a white dude with a moustache and big glasses

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Five are black. 50 states, so that's 1/10, 10%, roughly the % of US pop which is AA. Almost dead on equal.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'd like to point out Nebraska and Oklahoma.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I’d like to point out how I thoughtfully said “many” and not all.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yup, bunch of crazy women in Nebraska and Oklahoma.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every other state has a man as the top serial killer. 2 states don't....

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dahmer had more kills than that. And he's famous enough that the mistake is ridiculous. Also, Carl Panzram was from MN and he had 22 I think

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

This whole info graphic is a bit suspect

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think he had 17 he was convicted for

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dahmer that is

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought so as well. Wish they would make a list of the amount of serial killers in each state. Wisconsin had quite a few

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Come on South Dakota, get your shit together. Those are rookie numbers

5 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 5

Right? There are drunk drivers out there who killed more. Hardly "serial" at 2.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is 2020, let's not put out a dare like that lol

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To be fair, that's like 50% of the population of South Dakota

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

South Dakotan here, Anderson was no serial killer.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I was somewhat amazed that his kill streak was 2.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Uhhhmmm. What. The. Actual. Fuck. Wyoming.

5 years ago | Likes 481 Dislikes 1

There is a podcast about Alcala that I recently listened to. Kind of interesting and very sad.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gonna be honest for a split second I was like what the hell colorado.....

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You mean "what the maybe fuck." Between 8 and 130 lol. Could have just been 8. Homie in Michigan has AT LEAST 100.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m currently listening to a wonderly podcast about him

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean... what else is there to do?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We are all prolific murderers. I killed 14 people before lunch today.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which is why there's no one here.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Live here also. Can confirm

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Weird, the killer is listed as 8-100 possible murders, with only one in Wyoming.

5 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

I was pretty sure most of his killings were in CA, but I could be wrong.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Utah has Ted Bundy, who "only" killed 8 women in the state out of his 30+ victims. Maybe it's by the most well known murders?

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

He barely counts for Wyoming. Most of his known victims are from California and New York. That super high number comes from photos found 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

2/2 in his home when he was arrested.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There's a video clip of him winning the Dating Game, too. It's terrifying

5 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Creepy Pasta Sauce: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XQ4d2nORMHQ

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I listened to that podcast! It was a good one!

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I hadn't heard about a podcast, I got it from my mom, who saw the episode in question and told me about it later

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The dating game Killer on Spotify. It has multiple episodes running through his crimes chronologically. Fascinating and horrifying

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bruh the worst one imo is New Mexico with David Parker Ray. Actually the most vile shit I've ever heard in my life.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wish I could burn the knowledge of what he did out of my brain. Dear God.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Almost looked it up. Changed my mind.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Robert Hanson's another really awful one

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A friends dad knew him. His dad said he knew something was up when he said "i like prostitutes cause noone cares when their missing"

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's a common thing with serial killers, I think. They don't view sex workers as people.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You saw Maryland, right? The fuck?

5 years ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 0

Until you get to the Carolinas, I am guessing you can pass anything off as BBQ to the north east coast.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The other other white meat

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Long pig

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I think I saw that move with Rory Calhoun

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He looks exactly the type.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But Wyoming has like the lowest population density of any state. Also the scariest place I've ever driven through.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Dudes classmates probably called him “Meth”

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So you haven’t seen the picture....

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why was it so scary? I’ve been all over, seemed pretty normal to me.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I cannot answer this fully in 140 characters. Mostly my weird experiences were in Evanston, it gets weird stuff because it's a border town.
