Saw it coming from a mile away. How? I've been there.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

That's a life lesson right there

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can see the debug boxes, a sign of bad emulation.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Capital A #*@(ing MEN

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I KNOW that pain... are you ok?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's more ironic that it took you exactly 100 tries than actually doing the deed

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel your pain, I've been doing this shit all week with Mario 64.

A Last Leg fan on Imgur? That's an upvote!

My brother bought this and full star’d it in like a day and a half. You guys are nuts.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shit like this is why I was stressed as a kid. I loved super mario sunshine but goddamn these levels were infuriating.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah I'm not a fan of these. I am anxious enough already thanks

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I remember doing this and then redoing it because I unlocked Luigi! Good times!

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It’s in sunshine, not galaxy. But galaxy 2 copied one of sunshine level but it wasn’t this one

Still so happy to serve.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That's a Cavalier for ya! As long as you're involved in whatever they're doing, they will go to the ends of the Earth to be by your side.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Even with a terrible headache because their heads are too small..

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I mean no. It's proportional. Unless you're talking Syringomyelia, which is a genetic disorder and not breed standard.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canine_Chiari-like_malformation 'As many as 95% of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels may have CM.'

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Why are the debug cubes being shown? How is this a less stable/functioning version than has been available for years?

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

64 and Sunshine are emulated (I assume due to the relatively short dev time), and it seems to be something level specific. This specific (1/

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

shine (Secret of the Dirty lake) does this when emulated, while the same moving block elements don't have them in other secret stages (2/

Timestamped in this video from 2018: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBs0Ulxcp_k&t=1180s (3/3)

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actually it's Red Coins of the Dirty Lake, but same physical stage. (4/3)

You need a hug?

Always. And i am always ready for a one.

No. @OP needs gaming talent.

I've got a huge... hug for you.

5 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

Had me in the first half...

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

If it had you in the first half it indeed was huge

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why are the controls in Mario Sunshine so terrible? I think I hate it

5 years ago | Likes 522 Dislikes 28

Because Nintendo, lol

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 12

Some of us feel the opposite. Sunshine has by far the smoothest and most fluid control of any mario to me. The rest all feel like I'm a tank

5 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 2

The Switch collection has miserable controls. Nintendo needs to update it to give players the choice to customize it.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's why I didn't buy the new collection. Some basic quality of life improvements would have gone a long way.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

My son and I are on this level now on my old gamecube

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It also has one of the worst cameras. Get your shit together, Lakitu.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Completed it last night, never playing it again, first Mario game I can't be arsed getting all the stars (shines) on

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...Compared to 64 they feel fine. 64 feels like a physics tech demo that was turned into a playable game. And less said about the camera...

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Really? I thought SM64s camera was pretty good, actually. I rarely have to fight it while playing, and it doesn't make me nauseated.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One of the biggest problems with the switch port is that the triggers aren't pressure sensitive anymore, so you can't control FLUDD's output

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

How do you play it then...

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Basically the trigger will make FLUDD always go full force. It's still playable, but you lose some of the finesse movement options.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think its the controller sensitivity thats messing me up so bad, if the stick intensity was cut in half id be way easier. Its just spastic

5 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 0

Having said that Galaxy games are a slog. 3D series strikes a nice balance

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It'd* im easy either way

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Sunshine was always spastic feeling. Some people love it. I don’t like games that feel twitchy and skatey. That’s Sunshine

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Really? They always felt great to me. Sunshine is one of my favorite games!

5 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 2

Have you played it on the new 3D All Stars compilation? As I never played on GameCube I don't know if it has always been this way.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Hmmm, no, I have only played it on GameCube and on Dolphin (w/ an Xbox 360 controller, not as good as a GameCube controller, but fine).

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sunshine had a very short development time (1.5 years) so it lacks refinement in a lot of areas.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I assume they wanted to bolster the GameCube's slow sales ASAP and FLUDD usually has the hover nozzle as a band-aid for the controls

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

From what I recently discovered from "Did You Know Gaming?", Sunshine was rushed to boost NGC sales, so it probably didn't get the same 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

level of quality assurance that Nintendo is otherwise known to give to their biggest IP games. 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Because youtubers said it was great but it sensitive af. You'll get used to it, but you'll never like it.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isn't this Galaxy?

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 14

Sunshine. Galaxy improved a lot, but Odyssey is perfection.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it’s Sunshine

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I don't see any star bit counts, this looks like one of the Sunshine levels where Shadow Mario steals Fludd.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Oooh yeah!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You are correct I just beat this one like 2 days ago haha

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just did Red Coins in a Bottle, those underwater levels are pathetic. I have lost a bit of respect for Nintendo due the terrible controls.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude, the game came out 20 years ago. I understand, they rereleased it recently. But it was a package deal, and the amount of time to rework
