So, this finally arrived in the mail. My Secret Santa contacted me some time ago, worried about the status of the package. Tracking was just showing "in transit" for weeks. Today, however, the mailman dropped this baby off. Time to get at it.

Some sweet artwork to get in a festive mood. Remembering Harambe (with banana for scale).

This is promising.

Oh! And I did. My Secret Santa introduced himself as @SpliffSanders. Turns out, we had stuff in common, kids and games to name a few, so I had high hopes.

So many packages! Decided to start with the soft one first, because it was the biggest.

A scarf!

Finns do love hockey. And it's f*cking cold ATM, around 1°F / -17°C. My face was literally freezing off when walking to work this morning. They're expecting to go as low as -38°F / -39°C in northern Finland this week.

I'm so wearing this to work tomorrow!

Next up is a smaller package. Didn't have a banana handy so you'll just have to figure out the size.

Critical Hit! D20-shaped, giant ice mold. And yes, I drink whiskey, so this is perfect! This bad boy will be frozen in no time.

Next up was Raphael, for my son :)

I actually haven't seen this fella after this, as he was absorbed into the constant Paw Patrol meets Lego meets Lightning McQueen -adventure.

Next up: socks! *insert chart of how happiness from receiving socks as a gift increases the older you get* Fallout is one of my faves, so these will be worn tomorrow!

These just keep coming.

Claptrap? Beer? I'm game!

A Claptrap bottle opener! Hell yes! (Borderlands is another of my all-time favourites)

And the last one. I really appreciate the effort that was put into this whole thing.

So that was all!

Great many thanks, @SpliffSanders! You couldn't have sent better gifts! This was my first time participating in Secret Santa but it won't be my last.

So, what was in that last package? What was the thing that my Secret Santa made himself, just for me, a complete stranger?

You guessed it, didn't you?

It was my pleasure, @skaboofle. I'm glad you like the gifts, and that the package actually arrived. :) Late is better than never I suppose!

Not really late, man. International deadline was way later. And this was a perfect continuation of the holiday season.
