Roll out the snow

Update: Bonus sploosh for Sandrak and others: http://imgur.com/CzqYo2I

What can happen when you don't remove snow:

(Before you complain that I cut this off too soon, the Metrodome roof didn't collapse all the way. All that happens is it sags a bit lower after this and a little more snow falls on the field: http://imgur.com/PZnoDsr )

Cat tax:

This is very cool.

Rolling a snowball like that to remove snow doesn't work BTW. Either you have enough snow doesn't even touch it, or its full of shit from

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

the ground, while crumbling and leaving a mess of random snow. Does not cleanly separate.

True. Really only works on grass

This happened to my mom and I years ago. The lady initially admitted fault and then backtracked and tried to say the ice came off 1/2

Our car. Except we were the ones with the smashed windshield???

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

There is something deeply satisfying about train plow.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't stop watching it.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There's something deeply satisfying about all of this. Hnnnnggh at that dirty roof action.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@ the train: We get it, you vape.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It really annoys me that the football field gif is so short, everyone enjoys some mass destruction.

10 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 10

You can look it up on YouTube (Metrodome collapse), but that's basically all there is to it. The roof sags a little lower, but that's all.

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Aww damn, i was hoping for mass destruction

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The roof material tore but none of the cables holding it up broke, so once the inside air pressure was gone it didn't sag any further.

Well, one of them are a bunch of badasses... And the other ones choke so much they've turned purple.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is it because they like me dominant in bed?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like that a train from my little part of the world shows up on the internet occasionally and gets seen by hundreds of thousands of people.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#3 Yup, right until you hit that spot where the slabs are uneven and ram yourself in the gut with the shovel handle.

10 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 0

Omg yeah, I finally learned to hold the handle off my hip, so I don't get impaled.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) "...ram yourself in the gut"

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

More like ram yourself in the dick. I only did that once.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Comes with the job. No pain, no gain. If you can't take a little punch to the gut, move to the desert.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

or you hit a big chunk of ice...too many times

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or the sidewalk is wider than the shovel. That only works on the first row.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why not tilt the shovel the other direction? I use a similar shovel and just switch what side the snow pushes of from, works great.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

only if the snow is shallow. There is less resistance for the snow to go around the shovel where there is no snow 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

unless you make the angle so severe that you're only using 1/2 the width. I wish it worked and have tried

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Alternative method of clearing snow: Grab a bunch of the saltiest people you can find, and lay them across necessary pathways. Watch magic.

Greetings from NL! CBC weather guy this morning: "Expect a consistency of hardened concrete". Fun!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Well, let's hope it doesn't all fall at once

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In NS. It's been nothing but rain, rain and rain thus far. Not a good sign for when the snow hits

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fortunately our biggest storm so far was rain. If it's been snow, we'd still be digging out.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've lived where it snows my whole life, and I've never seen that.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Not always, sometimes jsut crumbles. And nwohere as easy or clean as in gif, no in my experience.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Wut?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is not how everyone makes their snowmen? I've been doing that since I was a kid.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

I've never made one.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I was in third grade, we made a snowman in the field behind the school. We built it where we had to stop when it got to heavy to move

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's how I did my first one. My hands got so cold they physically hurt on my next push and I started crying. The ball was as tall as me.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

We had a whole crew, most of the kids in the class were helping, around 20. we had to build a ramp to get more snow on top :) good times

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did you make cylindrical snowmen or round them out?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

roll on a curve to make it spherical

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would make a small snowball and then roll the ball around on the ground.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Really really big ones get cylindical, stack them up, pat them down to round-ish. Add snow to properly connect and reinforce.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Darn I was hoping for non-traditionaly shaped snowmen. Oh well. All snowmen are cute. Except when they're creepy.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Depends on the moisture of the snow.

10 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

It looks insane.. I had no idea a type of snow is rollable

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Heavy snowfall, then wait for a day when it starts melting. After an inch or two has melted the snow will be perfect for shit like this

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When it's moist enough for you to easily make snowballs with gloves on, you can make a small snowball and just keep rolling it 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then it will accumulate more snow as you push it onwards, until the point where you cant humanly push it any longer ^^ 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also, this is the easiest way to make snowmen.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aww yiss I hope it snows again

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We used to do this in elementary school ^^ (Norway)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Rollable, packable, formable, carvable, sweepable, stompable, blowable, crunchable. You can do so many fun things with it.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I can make snow cream

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Beware of worms (worm eggs). Don't eat snow off the ground.
