Remember kids, pierogi is already plural! A+ works @op!
shuttlecockinakumquat
I've done this once. Mixed a pierogi and potsticker recipe. Also made teriyaki sour cream dip for it. One day will do again.

ConfettiPanda
Looks amazing. And like a lot of hard work.
tabma
Hard? Nope. Boring? Yes, very much so.
EJust
I've loved pierogi since I had them at a polish wedding in the 1980s
RuricOrhlandis
Nice

stilloldbull
We have a Polish Bakery/Deli that makes and sells these…you can get them frozen and cook them yourself but I can never wait!
Wanderlust1117
I love this. Exactly the way my mom makes them.

I’m jealous of your countertop, OP.
xyxyxyxy31
tabma
Haha! It's just a table. There is no room for anything on the countertop
nomorehate
I too want @op's counter space.
smashole
Uhh where is the recipe for the dough and the filling?
shuttlecockinakumquat
It's really easy, just a lot of work and a large time investment.

ComcastLover
Will be keeping this for later. They are later boiled, right?
Laurpud
We boil parboil them, then fry in butter & onions
tabma
Yup to cook them you put them separately (don't overcrowd) into salted boiling water and cook them for 3 minutes after they raise to surface
tabma
Or you can freeze them. Then you cook them same way, just a bit longer than fresh ones
tabma
Or you could pan fry them, also good ?
CthuluIsMyHomie
We always boiled and then pan fried
smashole
Is pan fried better or boiled?
ThelmaTidwell
My kids prefer pan fried. They like the crunchiness of the shell.
tabma
Dunno. I like them both. Try each and decide for yourself
ComcastLover
It's you and me, @op
Dankking
I prefer mine sautéed in butter with onions !!!! To each their own.
sexysexyjesus
Looks more like Chebureki.
jamesdeanshat
Just kiss already.
forthoseabouttobork
They look more like empanadas
ComcastLover
No. They definitely look like pirozhki. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirozhki
tabma
I could eat yours... What's the filling?
ComcastLover
Minced meat, onion, garlic, carrots, chili spice, paprika spice and some tomato puré.
Yours look great too!
IAmAMammal
Why are they orange, did you put them in the oven or something??
ComcastLover
Yes. Pirozhki go in the oven.
IAmAMammal
Pierogi does not, this is PIEROGI.
ComcastLover
It depends on where you're from.
tabma
Mine are potatoes, cream cheese and onion
Dankking
Did you just boil them? I know that’s how a lot of polish like them. I gotta fry them tho I’m fat.
ColoradoCattleCo
Post a recipe please!
ComcastLover
Fantastic! I'd love to see a cross section!
IAmAMammal
THAT IS HOW YOU MAKE PIEROGIES! Thank you!

Aren't these more like a Cheburek?
PvtNoPrivates
Yes, this is Cheburek. Not Pelmeni and not Pierogi
ComcastLover
I love how people try to tell me what the food that I made is. It's pirozhki. Meat in bread exists in many places and variations.
TheDaK
I know them as Vareniki :)
MitchAporia
Cheeburek is different dough, and it has spices that East Euros dont use.
MitchAporia
This is Pirozhki
