I was wondering, if I opened an etsy shop and sold my painting for about 5-10$ a piece. Do you think there would be any kind of want or demand?

This one is my favorite I've done so far.

I did this on a 20 dollar Walmart jean jacket. If I sold a custom one, it'd probably be for 150$. It took me a very long time. Obviously it'd be more expensive depending on the jacket I chose to paint.

It's unfortunately starting to crack, so I think next time I won't do a solid back ground and just paint the pokemon.

This is honestly my favorite part.

This one was a pain in the ass. The hands were sooo hard to do.

And I make custom shirts. But I'm not 100% confident in it without help.

I also do custom decals/ cups.

Edit. For real, though. I struggle really bad with agoraphobia and the ability to function around others.

I did onlyfans for a while, but I have a bf now and I think it's be disrespectful to him to continue. Plus it's really really time consuming to manage your page. You'd be surprised at the amount of work I put in. I was essentially on call 15 hours a day.

Coupled with my Misophonia, autism, adhd, and crippling anxiety I don't do well out in the world.

It looks like that call center job i was excited about fell through. That's what I get for trusting my mom tbh.

I just want to be able to make money without begging for it. Plus my poor bf needs dental work he can't afford and I'd like to help him save up. It would be monumental for his self esteem. Plus it would really help me to save up to go back to school.

I can do more than pokemon characters if I practiced a bit.

Tldr. I was delt a really bad hand at life, struggle with functioning, want to sell my art so that I can afford to get my life on track.

To justify the funny tag. Where does a sick boat go for medicine?

To the boat doc.

Only 5-10$ that’s a steal, i see probably 20-40$ in value. Try it a gauge how people respond.

Dont sell yourself or the time spent short! They look really nice and definitely are worth way more than $5-10 for the paintings imo.

Really? :0 well it normally takes me about an hour and a half to 2 hours. So if I went by minimum wage I should charge 15+ish for them.

Also seems like the type of thing you could bring to a convention/expo to sell and get potential clientele as well if that's your thing

I'd have to think about it. I wouldn't sell prints, I'd sell originals. Crowds are just really hard for me.

Try it and guage it, nothing too much lost in trying. The denim jacket was neat, did you just use acrylic or mix with a fabric medium?

You have to mix it with fabric medium. I just painted it too high up, I think. Too much movement causes it to crack.

If I end up not being able to sell them I'll probably donate all the painting to the children's shelter, or something.

They'd probably love that! But hopefully that won't be needed.
