"Fuck it, you're going to buy that shit anyway." -Walmart probably

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's your fault, really. Going to Walmart..

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Currently working at Walmart,it's because we don't have the cashiers to man all the register's or fuck you people ya are all fucked up

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

20 people in line, 2 checkouts open, and 4 managers watching. It's why I haven't walked into a Walmart since 2014.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Stop going to Wal-Mart, go to a place that sells actual quality stuff.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

alternative: just don't go to walmart

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is the reason I refuse to use Morrisons in the UK.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey it's not like I'm going to wal-mart for a pleasant shopping experience. Pay Target money for Target lines.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Welcome to Safeway

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work at a walmart that had that happen work in grocery was up there all day instead of doing my job oh well paid the same

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then...... Ummm, don't shop there and support them with your money.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Well ummm, like I said, never again on Sunday. PAY ATTENTION!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I work retail as of now and we have 2-3 open all day. No point in calling in people soley for the rush hour

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do not shop at W-M, haven't in 20 years as they are scum of the earth to providers, employees & ultimately their customers. Cheap is ...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

as cheap does. They don't need or miss my money. They ruin communities & lives wherever they go. Wankers. Mean wankers too.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The new Wal-mart beside me has kick ass self checkout. No errors, no "unexpected item" bullshit.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly why I dont go to walmart anymore

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know this is directed at Walmart, but mutiple other businesses do the same thing. It's one of the reasons I got off the register my first

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

work year, they wanted quotas, and I'm just trying to get the line down fast and courteously.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Here I get all kinds of food delivered actually into my house. Prices are on par or lower than conventional stores https://e-dostavka.by/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Shit. I'm the pajama clad person with no bra or deo...

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

My kind of lady! ;)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a walmart manager, I can say, we spend hours on end trying to hire/find people to work sundays. Even scheduling 10+ most of them call in.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Could be just my store but anytime lines start to form people are used from the sales floor, we will have all 16 registers open and people

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Will still complain because they aren't even paying attention, most of the time there's no lanes it's because the store is understaffed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But then people go around complaining about the employees, and people don't want to deal with it so they quit

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah, ours do that too. If they have a small amount of stuff/self checkout is too long they get sent to jewelry counter.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We only have 10 lanes, but people always pile on the first belts, even when the back lanes are open.... :/ people queuing are dumb as hell.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work overnight at walmart. I never understand why people need carts full of stuff after midnight.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

sometimes that's the only time some of us plebs can go...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That isnt the weird part, expecting more than a couple cashiers is. I havent seen any retail have more than a couple cashiers on 3rd shift.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

right but if they know it's busy during 3rd like some locations (mine unfortunately is one) they should hire more humans imo

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think it's unfair to the one lane that is backed up into the clothes section all night while managers look on or walk around

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed. But my regional Walmart is telling ALL shifts they are overstaffed while we constantly lose people that dont get replaced. It sucks

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Walmart is evil for running your payment as a debit transaction that bypasses the pin input without your consent.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's not a thing that can happen at least in the us

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It is a "thing" and it happens continually. I have the receipts.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How would the receipt prove you didn't have a chance to enter your pin

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The receipt shows Walmart ran the transaction as "debit". At no time was I prompted to enter my PIN to authorize the transaction.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just never again

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You missed the part when they can't make change even while the computer is telling them how.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

v

8 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 6

So hot

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Damn, she so fat the gif cut out before she could stop jiggling.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

As a Walmart employee, use the friggin self checkout if you have such a problem waiting in line.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Would gladly.. if my local Walmart HAD self checkouts.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also as a Walmart employee people are too fucking stupid to do anything themselves

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

As a only semi-stupid person, you both have my deepest condolences.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Scan item. Put it on scale. Scan item. Put it on scale. No don't lean on the scale. No don't put the item down and immediately pick up bag

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then don't fucking come at midnight when day shift has left and the registers all need changed out

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

3AM wal-mart shopping is my favorite. Especially for holiday shopping. Not even sarcasm, that's when I shop there if I have to.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Early AM Walmart is also my favorite Walmart, and usually the only time I go. Go during the day & somehow shocked at all the people.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Was leaving work at 10 the other day(we aren't a 24 hour store we close at 10) there were close to 30 people in line complaining about it

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you want your shopping done fast don't come when the store is closing, surprising enough employees get to go home too

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pajama clad, no deodorant, no bra? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the population of Imgur.

8 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 1

I mean... that's me except I wear deodorant.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hello

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's me... but I don't wear a pajama

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok but in my defense I am in bed right now.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can confirm. I am not wearing A bra. Related : am also not a lumberjack.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But that's okay...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I keep my pits smelling fresh all the time. I love wearing jeans, but when I get home the pajama pants are put on so fast it's almost art

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well, I'm a guy, so

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've got 2 out of 3 of those going for me, I'll let you decide which 2.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm not judging. I'm just sayin...

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I like no bra women.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Speak for yourself, Sir.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Miss

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

By a mile

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know why they get hate. I love self-checkouts so much.

8 years ago | Likes 207 Dislikes 13

Please use the pinpad to fuck yourself, you infernal machine

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cause me buying stuff there should pay the salaries of cashiers, not the owners

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 14

For 100 items ya no thanks

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Self-check outs are the reason that there are only two registers opened at a time now: competition demands it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

IKR, free cilantro and discounts on avacados and premium tomatoes.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right? Really simple to use, especially if you're just paying debit or credit. Just immediately put the item in item area lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The ones near me don't work well with Samsung Pay and I get points for using it. But regular registers it always works, it's weird

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It really does work a ton of places and I like it (Sorry I sound like an ad), but Walmart self checkouts, I can't get it to work ever

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why have a store provide a service if they can make you do it yourself

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am depressed and have social anxiety and cashiers ask me how I'm doing and I can't handle that stress. Self checkout is a godsend.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They close self checkout by me at about 9:30. Then it's 2 registers 15 people deep with full carts. And the cigarette lane 30 people deep.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I do too until I have a million things to buy.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Attention! Unexpected item in bagging area. Please wait for assistance

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Self checkout requires a sliver of patience, quick movements, and the ability to read. You find it breaks a hell of a lot less.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I also love them. Break time lifesavers!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see a lot of comments about glitches but I always see people go to them with a huge cart load and no idea how to use the thing

Well it's not exactly a hard job. You're not even handling cash, the machine does it for you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Always a glitch, at least at my local store.

Definitely some truth to that. I always feel so dumb when I'm holding up self-checkout.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Must be an ID:10-T error. Or simply a PBKAC issue.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Still better than having extra stuff added to your ticket when you use a human lane.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Steals jobs from people.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Like when the printing press made scribes obsolete ~500 years ago? Maybe this is some sort of societal issue.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No it doesn't. Literally not one cashier was fired at my Walmart when they added them, reappropriated them to new task.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

But don't hire as many in the future.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah but I can't self checkout produce

Here in Az you can but we also have aisles of liquor in our grocery stores. Typically gotta show ID to the cashier but you can ring it up.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck, I'm an idiot

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

All self checkouts cam ring up produce

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

4011 is the produce code for scales :D

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work at a Wal-Mart and can confirm they do scale produce...

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Thank u 4 ur service

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Please put the item in the bagging area. Please remove the item from the bagging area.

8 years ago | Likes 122 Dislikes 0

Used to have that problem in Ireland when they first came in over 10 years ago, haven't heard that message in about 5 years.

But if you click don't bag the item too many times it locks up.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

UNEXPECTD ITEM IN BAGGiNG AREA! Bitch, you JUST scanned it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most of the time, when that happens people hit the "no bagging" option then bag the item anyway. I used to work in a grocery store.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's one of the most infuriating things to watch them do that. And then they try scanning more items on the error screen.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is never a problem at the supercenter I go to. Always just scan my crap, put it in bags at my leisure, and get the heck out.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You wouldn't like them when they glitch on you all the time. And it takes forever if you have a full cart.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

I use them all the time, rarely do I ever experience glitches.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You shouldn't be using them if you have a full cart. Think of them like the express lane.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

My wife has the same problem. It's user error. Learn from your mistakes and you won't repeatedly get the glitches.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh? Like "please put item in bag," while I'm screaming, "I just did!" Because I did. That kind of glitch.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No like understanding why the machine is telling you that. You did something to the scale the bag is sitting on to get that error.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Once you have the thing figured out, it's really simple to use. You scan an item, set it down, pause, scan the next item, set it down, etc.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why are you assuming I'm a total moron who doesn't know anything?
