but to be fair, when they were helpful they tended to be framed as invaluable. But on the flip side, yeah we rarely see her actually-
doing her official job as the ship's councilor, but that also means don't have a clear image of how good she is at being one, at not-
compared to how much we got to see Crusher and Pulaski being doctors with incredibly sassy bedside manner
