This movie broke my 3 years of not going to a theater. And Simultaneously started my pure hatred of ANY person in a theater. STFU people!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nail was the the scariest part.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just saw this movie last night. Wasn't that bad

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'll try to say this without spoiling anything but I thought that the "redemption" at the end of the movie came like 5-10 minutes late...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I enjoyed the film, but it's highly overrated. If it wasn't Jim from the office makes a horror movie, it wouldn't have been a hit.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Outstanding movie! Very much like a silent flim vibe.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Having a taco bell supper, or anything with beans, before this movie is not a good idea then ?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

"Oh....Yeah..." DAMMIT KEVIN!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guess he took that a little too far.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What movie? I must know

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

“A Quiet Place”. In theaters right now- saw it yesterday, and it’s one of the best horror movies I’ve seen in a while

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What I don't understand is why people aren't meme-ing that one episode where Pam jinxes him, and then he can't get her a coke...

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The biggest regret you'll have while watching this movie is buying the large popcorn that you can't even eat.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Saw this movie. Someones ringer went off. Several people loudly called them a mother fucker. Then their ringer went off again.

That is gold Jerry, Gold!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never been to a movie that came with instructions. However, it was amazing

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

What kind of instructions? I’m not a scary movie fan

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just to be quiet and try not to bring snacks

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

During that six years:

WHERE DID THE MONSTER COME FROM? i can't believe there are blind space aliens. how could they see other planets and become aware of them?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Coupled with the water scene. Otherwise, i dunno. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My theory is some sort of fish monster, sound travels much better underwater, so it seems like a pretty good evolutionary reason. That 1/

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There was a newspaper clipping reporting a meteor crashing in Mexico, so presumably they just happened to be on that

Is this the last of us

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 6

He would make a great Joel in a few years.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The movie, "A Quiet Place".

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Right but is it based off of The Last of Us? I've never played cause I don't own consoles. Just curious.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

No

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm looking for films to watch actually, it any good?

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Haven't seen it yet. Looks interesting in a summer, popcorn kinda way. Heard ready player one is pretty cool, but haven't seen it yet.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's pretty good. Just don't expect a very deep plot.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It's got like a 100% on rotten tomatoes so far

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

One hell of a repost

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wrong boo. Made it on Photoshop. You go downvote anyone ripping me

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

im sorry boo, my bad, still love u tho

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have never been in a more quiet theater, than when I saw this movie.

8 years ago | Likes 1051 Dislikes 7

Went with my loud in-laws. I enjoyed the peace and quiet as they squirmed in the silence

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same. Except someone's cellphone went off 20 minutes into the movie. He got audibly smacked.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

What movie?

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

"A Quiet Time In Tiny Town"

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There was a very loud booming movie next door. I was so irritated.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So happy I had Monday off, and decided to go in the afternoon. It hit me afterwards how annoying it would be to see this in the evening.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This movie made me realize how loud eating popcorn is.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work in a theatre where we have a full service kitchen and bar. Taking food and drinks to people during such a quiet movie is awkward as

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Last time I went was for It, a family of a least 20 wouldn't shut the fuck up, saying shit like "Ooooooh no! Don't do it!" At everything.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ruined the fucking movie. I hate people.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I never realize how many fucking crinkling bags there were in a theatre until I saw this. Holy shit people, eat before you go!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I had popcorn and decided to wait to eat it until the movie got louder

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The people behind me wouldn't shut up, so that was nice.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some guy literally fell asleep in the theatre. Literally everyone could hear him snoring.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Did we go to the same theater? I had the same issue.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where abouts was the theatre you went to?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Literally?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hear good things. Wife-dog doesn't like horror movies though, so I'm waiting on her to work a late shift.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I call her wife-dog because she calls me husband-monkey, btw. dogs are loyal and lovable, so it's a complement.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Was confused and curious, glad you explained.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I only learned that nobody in an Atlanta theater shuts the fuck up... But I already knew that. Back to NOT going to theaters for me.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My girlfriend had a full bag of popcorn left when we left the theatre.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I saw this last night and someone brought their 4 year old daughter, it was not a quiet place.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

who tf brings their 4 year old daughter to a horror movie

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

First time ever I was afraid to eat my popcorn.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Three phones went off in 20 mins and, the guy two seats to my left kept getting scared other than that it was a good movie.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We had a guy answer his cellphone half way through the movie, plus the arcade was just outside the door so we could hear people playing

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I envy you. There was a guy coughing every 30 seconds right behind me... still enjoyed the movie

8 years ago | Likes 266 Dislikes 0

Last time I went, I had Munchasaurus Rex show up behind me...

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Munch!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That was me you slut

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

when i saw it i sat next to some popcorn chompers that only ate during the quiet parts (so all of it)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But did you enjoy the flu?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

a woman with a raspy smoker voice said "oh that ear piece is what is making the aliens get all mad" everyone laughed at how obvious it was.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had two lil annoying ass kids giggling every now and then, I wanted to beat them with some cable wires.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I sat behind four individuals who were talking and drinking Hennessy out of a water bottle the whole movie. Picture them. You’re racist.

8 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

I don't understand? I pictured high school teenagers.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

those four people should be on mount rushmore

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(SPOILERS) dead silent until she blasted it with a shotgun. Single “hell yeah” in the audience. Everyone laughed.

8 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 14

When the daughter was giving her dad attitude someone said “what’s sign language for who the fuck you think you’re talking to” I laughed

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Really? We got "Muthafuckka..." from the biggest hood bitch in the theater.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously Douchepool, no need to add spoiler comments as such but hey, you be you.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I had a leg cramp that would twinge if I moved, not the best to deal with in a horror film.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dickhead

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Put spoilers only then reply to your comment with the spoiler. Also, same in my theatre ????????

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

Ah. Didn’t know that. Will do that from now on thanks

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They were doing construction work in the lobby at the theater I was at. It sis not add to the ambience

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw it with a bunch of tweens in the theater who wouldn’t stop yelling penis or making popping sounds. At the end they booed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lucky. I went on a weekend and was stuck in a theater full of teenagers. They started clapping and cheering after the opening scene.

8 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

this is why I stopped watching PG-13 "Horror" in theaters...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did that all by myself. It was gnarly

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The teenagers in my theatre would scream at every opportunity then giggle for a solid minute afterwards about how scared they got..

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The teenagers in my theater were also taking selfies. In the middle of the movie. With the flash on.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Stupid kids! No respect for the old customs!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That'd be a paddlin round these parts.

This movie was quite good actually. "A quiet place" for those who don't know

8 years ago | Likes 364 Dislikes 2

Yea great movie, let's unnecessarily kill off the main character who is doing an excellent job, just to prove a point to a bratty teenager.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 8

Oh and then not show the best part we all wanted to see and cut to the credits. I am bitter. 12/3. Just slightly less than 5/7.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't you mean it was QUIET good? I fucking hate myself I'm sorry

8 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 0

No

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The ads pissed me off again. A bunch of loud music cues kinda ruined the motif for me, but it DID look good.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think it deserves the perfect score, but I did enjoy watching it. It was more of an 8/10

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Personally, I dont get the hype. I feel like people are more excited about Jim Halpert directing. It wasnt terrible but not hype worthy

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 10

I wasn't even aware there was such a hype lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stephen King praised the movie. I mean, it's got to amount to something, right? I'm going to see it tonight.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

God speed man, dont let me take anything from your experience. Majority of people liked it so odds are you will too

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm not even hyped by the fact that mr. Krasinski is the writer/producer/director/protagonist, as I never watched The Office (will do).

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honestly, I probably just read too much hype about it. I usually try to avoid that but the Stephan King endorsement snagged me

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or I just fucking like horror movies.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Haha you do you, I wasnt trying to attack the genre or anything. I thought Hush was a better quiet suspense kinda movie

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You have every right to your completely valid opinion, but the contents of said opinion have made me hate every ounce of your being

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 5

That is a perfect response!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha I feel ya man. I thought it was good for a horror genre movie but the bar just isnt that high for horror.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Spoiler below

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I dont buy that everyone figured that theyre hyper sensitive to sound, but no one tried to overload those sensitive ears? Also, they seemed

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

To be pretty weak to bullets. That fleshy part on their faces were always exposed. I dunno man, I dunno

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Good for a horror movie or good for anyone?

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I’d say it’s more of a thriller than a horror movie but the actors are great, the story was great just the whole movie was really well done.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You’re going to need to like horror to watch it, methinks. Beyond the scary parts, I cried and smiled. Direction was great.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

How about people who tend to stay away from most horror stuff? I loved Get Out and liked the first Halloween and The Shining.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But stuff like IT or jump scare stuff is nothing I really like.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is A Quite Place anything I might be able to handle?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s very scary. I had a hard time watching it and I love horror.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There’s lots of jump scares. But there’s usually build up to these. You could just cover your eyes when everyone starts looking panicked.
