Day in the life of a lazy Remote Web Developer in FL USA

I live in sunny Sanford Florida, located just north of Orlando. We are about midway in the state so the climate is best described as.........blah.....with a good chance of "meh" in the evening.

It doesn't get very cold here in the middle of Florida, even in the winter. With the exception of a few weeks we stay about 60-70 degrees F. So no snow, the occasional rain, but all in all the best time of year to be in Florida. um...yeah?

First thing I have to do every morning is let me dog out to pee. And by dog, I mean my dog, it wasn't a metaphor for my penis. Anyway, he is my alarm clock. It never fails, he wakes me up at least 20 minutes before my alarm does by licking my face and trying to hump me while I desperately push him back at the same time as getting off the bed. I'm sure he just really loves me a whole bunch.....lil skamp...

I'm a remote web developer, so this is my office. I pretty much just roll out of bed and go to work, with the exception of taking the dog out to pee (as we talked about earlier). These are my tools. I have a halfway decent 200 MB/s connection, so work and fun flow good enough for me (it makes those user submitted photos load nice and quick ;) ). I turned on the light to take this photo but its usually off and the curtains do I good job of blocking out most of the sun. Please don't judge me for my cabling under the desk. This is where I spend a majority of my time, and YES I live in Florida and don't have a suntan, and no I'm not goth or emo or depressed......but I do seem to wear black a whole lot.....go figure. Perhaps I would melt if a was outside too long.....idk. Yes those are MacBooks, that is the world I work in Mac and Linux and Android. I had a very confusing childhood.

After work, before the wife cooks an ungodly terrible dinner, I go catch up on my binge re-watching classic DS9, having already went through STNG for the 3rd time last week. Being a remote worker I don't go out much, plus there ain't much I like to do in Sanford anyways since I'm not a drinker, and I'm over 30, and white, and I don't own a motorcycle, and I'm not a swinger, and I can't really stand country music (sorry).

Time to relax with my Doggie. He has had a hard day so I cover him up with his fuzzy blanket while we both enjoy DS9 on the couch. The end of another day, with not much else to say about what wasn't present in between this photo and the last one, because frankly, nothing really happened. I live in Sanford FL folks, it's freaking boring here. It's not Disney World and I'm not near the beach. It's just like living in Ohio, I guess, but without the snow.
