Yeah, I'll get right on that.

You can repost this once a month for 4k points/Karma...

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Directions unclear, yelled out "You sank my battleship!" instead.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Anyone start to read this, then think: " fuck it, still too difficult" ?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Instructions unclear, ended up twisting and turning ballsack with colored square stickers on it

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Directions unclear. Solved corners first and middle edges last. Cube solved but stuck on penis.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My husband just taught me how to solve one last night. I have officially solved a rubik's cube 3 times :)

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Congrats!! And this post is so funny! I just bought one for my son and I'm determined to solve it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just freaking solved it!!!!!! I might cry I'm so happy. Check that off the bucket list.

Didn't see that coming... +1

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Step One: Get to know your Rubik's cube. Me: So... Rubik... You come here often?

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

not frequently. I'd definitely come more often, but i can't pass the river

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not sure if Dota reference or something else entirely...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Will try

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or just use this: http://rubiks-cube-solver.com/

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would upvote this, but OP didn't cite the website he stole this from

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

It's from Rubic's cube official website. That's literally the first result when you google 'rubic's cube solution'

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Should still cite it though

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Or you could just toss the cube in the garbage

10 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 7

My friend did a yt video of solving a cube. Then did one on how most people do it. Accidentally smashed it into pieces.

CFOP or get the fuck out

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

F2l for the win

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I use Roux :p

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was going to save and forget until I scrolled... and scrolled... and thought, "fuck me, I'll never do all this" and now am moving on.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This definitely doesnt tell you how to do it fast

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, this isn't that well explained. I got to Stage 6 with only 1 corner correct at a time and ruined my progress when I tried continuing

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Any1 get it?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice job of using Ctrl + V op, straight from Rubik's website

10 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 11

.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

I've seen this on front page several times, no-one even adds anything, just straight up stolen from the site

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Yeah, it's a little shameful. On the up side, at least OP didn't also watermark it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I feel like this is the problem with these. People aren't really solving them, they're just memorizing the steps to solve them.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, to solve the cube without memorizing any steps is really difficult, if not almost impossible.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It just makes it less impressive to me. I solved it a few times from following steps, and it felt empty.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well the challenge is more about how quickly you can do it, or how many turns does it take you to solve it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm still just going to peel the stickers off.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

The lego kid in me just pulled the thing apart and reassembled it.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

All the new cubes have plastic tiles instead of stickers

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My friend said he was gonna solve mine, gave him it and he got super disappointed when it had no stickers he could rip off

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well that's just not true at all.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They'll never reattach

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Crazy glue.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously, the labels are like cellophane after. I challenge you to try the glue.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The last time I peeled stickers off a rubix cube was probably 20 years ago, at the time they were plenty thick. Perhaps they are thinner now

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got a cube on Christmas, been trying to solve it since. Thank you kind stranger.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I once got pulled over for solving a rubiks cube while driving. Hot out of a ticket for actually solving it

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For the cubers here what cubes do you use

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The MoYu TangLong does the job pretty well.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i got a moyu aolong and cyclone boys3x3

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just break mine apart and snap it back together solved.

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

took me a month (in my free time) but i solved it. I am no rocket scientist. It s doable, i promise.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It took me like, 3 hours of free time.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

thats called the Mechanics and Engineers solution. Im right there with you :D

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Rotate top 45 degrees, pry up central peice, pull apart whole cube gently, then reverse the process so the peices all match up.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

with almost no help and no textbook. One friend told me about one move possible not telling me what it does or why.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I just break mine apart.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

we are kindred spirits

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That fucker can do whatever it wants then.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm upvoting so that when someone reads this and solves a cube on their own, I can live vicariously through them. Good luck random stranger.

I got all excited and then remembered I don't actually have one anymore.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I did. It was easy

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Won't be me, I solved one a few years ago. Finished for life!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

live it up (vicariously)

10 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

Guitarist!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I saw that too! Literally dozens of us, maybe as many as fifty...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

DOZENS!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know it's nothing big, but this was super rewarding solving this bastard. I've used this method forever and I've gotten down to 1:15.

10 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 1

Wow. I'm happy to do it under 5 mins. No speed cube though...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Started with this, then learned 2-Look LL, F2L, optimized my solutions, learned full PLL, anf further optimized my solutions. Now I'm sub-23

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I learned this in high school and loved showing it off. I've since completely forgotten the steps but maybe I'll pick it up again sometime.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I started with this method long ago, too. With practice you can reach my time of 20 seconds! Good luck!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Teacher in HS gave extra credit if we could do it, and bonus extra to whoever did it fastest. Came down to 2 seconds between us.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That is generally what this speed yields. Somewhere from 1:00 to 1:30 with a practiced band on a standard cube.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used this method as well. Only at 1:34 though

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Me too, that's around my time as well.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I found a different way that's faster with practice. Kind of hard to describe, but I could make a post if there's interest

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I think you should definitely make a post!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My friend taught me with this method, using incredibly well built speed cubes though. Fastest time was 47 seconds, because of the cubes.

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I have the same time with the same method and a speed cube.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What were these cubes? Where could I find them?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

httpake.com/">http://lightak">://l">ake.com/">http://lightake.com/ http://cubezz.com/ and http://www.championscubestore.com/

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is a store online called the cubicle.us that is where I buy them

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't know those were a thing.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

They come with silicone lube, now that I remember it, maybe I'll get one today.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dude there are speed curbing world championships. The current world record is just under 5 seconds. Look up WorldCubingAssociation.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The world is such a bigger place than I knew.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Felix just set a new 5x5 world record just a few days ago. Just under 45 seconds.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got to meet and talk to former world record holder Felix Zemdegs. He holds the most cubing world records. And not just for 3x3s
