Well I decided to do an update on my mustang and how shes looking now. I know a lot of people liked the previous posts because of a fondness of Mustangs and Cars in general. So here's to you car guys who knows what the journey is all about. Enjoy :)
I've been waiting...
I'm actually not surprised somebody called me out. I'm just surprised it ended up on the front page!! Was planing on making a post about it my self... but the other guy\gal beat me to it!
Here's some pics for the Fox Body Lovers!! (I read the Comments)
I read a lot of comments that showed favoritism towards Fox Body's so i'm gonna post some photos I've taken as I've worked on her :D
The engine bay looks a little more clean now. I've since got a one wire alternator, and new blue plug wires.
Tearin' her down.
Was in the process of changing out the heater core. I know some of you guys have done this before. Not an easy task but worth it in the end.
Here we almost got that dang heater core out
Dat Hurst Shifter Doe...
5 speed died on me...
This past Janurary my 5 speed died so a good friend of ours let me buy his 4 speed out of an 84' Mustang. The shifter kept sliding off the shaft so i put a simple shift knob on the shaft it self. Really short but it works. Below that boot you can see all the way to the ground.
Interior Work
Since I can't afford the major parts for my car thought I'd start working on the interior. This Picture was taken after I had cleaned up and painted the center console. Not bad. I'm fairly pleased with it.
If you saw a glimpse of the old hood, you knew it needed a paint job bad. This is the same hood...not bad for two redknecks and a couple cans of Engine paint.

Took this picture the other week. I've got plans for the seats don't worry. Might reupholster the original seats with the Mach 1 style from LMR.

(1/2) The 79-83 Mustangs were pretty bad, the 5.0 only made 140 horsepower. They started getting it right with the SVO though.
