You must be fun at parties.
Oh. Yeah. My bad.
captainmojojojo
Oh Oh i got this! So when you increase the pressure you restrict the crystallization process, and the energy required to switch from 1/?
to solid increases. This means the temperature can go below the freezing and if you introduce the tiniest amount of energy through 2/?
movement it will kickstart the crystallization process. Here is another example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CL7ALwb0RsQ

So your provider is called Chess?
Helofrendo
Yep, Norwegian provider
Why aren't there any cool providers like that in the Netherlands. We just got T-Mobile and Simpel (yes that's literally the word simple)

Why did you have to private search this????
To avoid the shame the next morning and in consequent searches. He forgot to close it though.
On the plus side, when he types "why does" in google he won't get "why does soda so angry" in the suggestions.

Water needs to expand in order to freeze. By creating space it freezes.
SuperRockinMrMagic
Things dissolved in water lower its freezing temp, opening it cause a decrease in CO2 concentration
LoveSays
water just busts through
RandomlyAppointedNSAAgent
Not if it's in a container that can withstand the pressure
Gmayor61
For just a split second, I thought that water had magic powers that create space.
mycatToastwasafatasshole
It still freezes while in the can, it just explodes out a bit.
TheBestRussian
That's the most straightforward explanation of the freezing phenomenon I've ever seen. Thanks! I've done it to beer, wine, champagne...
potshot
Not totally accurate though. There's two factors that can cause it, pressure drop(lowers freezing temperature) and super-cooling.
Aaahhh you're complicating things! I thought I finally got a grasp on it...
r0xj00
Well, u don't need to be ???? right to get it. It is true that water expands when frozen, and compression "prevents" it. Supercooling is 1
2 preventing crystalization ('freezing') while lowering temps below freezing. By avoiding a contaminate (like a sugar crystal in caramel)
