My neice is one of few people i trust to hold my lizard. She's legit learning reptile care, and she's super gentle with him.

To clarify. SHE is gentle. I wouldnt trust any other neighbourhood kid to hold him for even a second, one kid tried lifting him by his tail.

My mom uses the one finger rule with kids. If you're touching an animal, only one finger. Prevents grabbing and other mistakes until older.
