Is that thin door where you keep your Longboards/Snowboards?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You should make a camper out of it...

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I've always wanted one of these. They're beautiful. A deathtrap, sure, but beautiful.

Your pics are better looking than the Ebay listing...

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wanted these ones to be glamorous, I want the eBay pictures to just be exactly what you get so no one is mad if they think it’s different

From the days before seat belts. When doctors did cigarette ads.

You got deomons in your blood, better do cocaine about it.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see your name, I approve your name

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

you want to be safely thrown away from the wreckage

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

"When doctors did cigarette ads" may be the best single sentence description of a period of time describing a standard I've ever seen.

Looks like you gotta take a road trip to Mexico. So much for the US being the land of the free!

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wish the new electric concept looked more like these.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

This, so much this. I would love to buy an electric car if it didn't look like an ugly rip off of a Prius.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Save up for a Tesla Model S?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like they run great but there's large gaps between the body sections, paint misaligned, etc. etc.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've heard the manufacturing quality on those is actually pretty shitty.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haven't noticed build quality issues on any of the ones I've seen up close.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just went back and looked it up, apparently it was the 2016 models. The 2017/2018 models have apparently corrected the issues.

"The all-new VW Microbus! Where your legs are the crumple zone!"

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Got t-boned in a 67 VW bus back in '06. Six teens in a bus smacked skulls a bit, but we walked away alright. Car was totalled though.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Where are the Libyans?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I cant believe they found me

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Not so much trapped, as tossed out on the highway on your face.

7 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

Or impaled on the steering wheel.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just don't wreck it. Easy peasy lemony squeezy. And avoid shit drivers...those fuckers are everywhere.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wear a helmet?

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Can confirm. We have a 64 Econoline. Vintage cab over engine vehicles are dangerous. We have a no freeway rule.

7 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Freeways are the safest places to drive

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why are they dangerous?

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

The crumple zone at the front is your legs. But don't worry the steering wheel column going through your chest will make amputation unneeded

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

No crumple zones. New cars crumple and absorb impacts. Keeping passenger compartment intact. Old cars... not so much.

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

VW Busses aren't cab-over though. Engine's in the rear. Also, as long as the bumper is correctly attached, busses are shown to be 1/2

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

2/2 MUCH safer than people say. Still dangerous, as it's an old car, but similar to the Pinto and Corvair, they got a bad rap.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You're right, not COE but similar in the that driver is close to the windshield and bad steering wheel placement.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel like the demographic these vans were marketed to at the time probably didn't help. Likely a lot of driving Influenced by something

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oh influenced by MULTIPLE somethings. I guarentee it. Someone had to have been to do what they did to my 68.
