Skullkickers, baby.
Looking for an adventure? Something with killing, evil wizards, monsters, and killing items 2 through 3?
And beer, but that goes without saying.

Skullkickers is the fantasy action adventure you need in your life. Thoroughly satisfying and humorous all the way through, I can't recommend it enough.

You can read the whole comic online, starting here: http://comic.skullkickers.com/comic/2012-01-06

Looking for a fantasy adventure, but maybe something casual, with more story, less heads getting viscerally squashed?
Nodwick is the story of the other D&D character, the henchman. Follow Nodwick as he attempts (and fails) to survive his employers' shenanigans. His story leads him through many strange dungeons, with many interesting characters, as he and his companions slowly become more than just another group of adventurers.

A great read if you're looking for some good adventure and quiet humor, with a very lovely ending.

You can read all of Nodwick starting here. http://comic.nodwick.com/?comic=2008-01-24 (Though you might have to pull something to get the website working properly right now)

Alright, enough of that sappy stuff. 8 Bit Theater is a Final Fantasy sprite comic, with glorious homicide, accurate portrayals of politics, and sword chucks, yo.
Follow our 4 heroes as they become the Heroes of Light, or something. Plenty of humor for the rpg enthusiast, or anyone who enjoys watching orphans go to their well-deserved fate.

Quite a long read, so best get started now: http://www.nuklearpower.com/2001/03/02/episode-001-were-going-where/

Dr McNinja is the tale of an Irish Ninja who rejected his ninja parenthood to become a doctor. With the help of Benjamin Franklin's clone, a young boy with an impressive mustache riding a velociraptor, and a gorilla, Dr McNinja uses his skills as a doctor and a ninja to make the world a safer place.
(I promise those sentences make complete sense)

Dr McNinja is full of action, bad puns, weird villains, and questionable medical procedures. If you liked Skullkickers (or vice-versa) you'll love this.

Starts in black and white, turns color later (just like Wizard of OZ. Ok not really): http://drmcninja.com/archives/comic/0p1/

Finally, a personal favourite of mine.
Digger is an adventure tale, without action. It's quiet, slow, and maybe not for everyone. But if you're tired of Evil Villains and dastardly plots to destroy the world, and instead want to know how to avoid vampiric squash, and what tea Hyenas drink, perhaps you'll like this.
There is danger in the world of digger, there are evil things beneath the ground and in animals hearts, but digger's weapons are not shurikens, or fists, or hadoukens. Just wit, and a kind heart.

Read here: http://diggercomic.com/blog/2007/02/01/wombat1-gnorf/

All of these comics have completed their run, and can be read beginning to end. Enjoy.

Another good one by Aaron Williams. the creator of Nodwick is PS238 It's a comic about a school of superpowered kids

I'm gonna add UndeadEd to that list. It's very well crafted, if you want to read it it's on Webtoon. I highly recommend it.

Any of the ScaryGoRound comics by John Allison are great. Scooby Doo meets Shaun of the Dead.

The writer for Doc McNinja is also the one behind Gwenpool if you read that, or the other way around.

TK has anthro characters, but a fairly decant story and is drawn by the brother of Markiplier, and QC is about a guy living his life

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As far as anthro comics go, I personally like Dreamkeepers and precocious best. Also, you might like Strong female protagonist.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you want a challenge, I recommend Schlock Mercenary. Old as the millennium and only missed one day so far.

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Wait , Schlock is over?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

No, but pretty close. It's on Book 17, and the author has said recently that it'll probably wrap up in Book 19.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Start reading now, and race him to the end. If you win, do it again and try to find all the foreshadowing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope, still going. He missed a day very early on I think.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I did my first reading way back when, I managed three days I think.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't think I ever got current when I read it. But that's not to unusual; I can be a real fickle bastard.
