Library Exterior

The exterior isn't quite complete. There are a lot of little details missing and some trimming of the trunk of the building to try to shape it a touch more like the show.

1st Floor Main Chamber

This was one of the hardest rooms to figure out the layout since it seems no two scenes in the show can agree on what features go where.

1st Floor Auxiliary Chamber

Rarely used in the show save for a couple episodes, this is the back room to the library that can be seen through an archway from the main chamber in the first three seasons.

1st Floor Lantern Balcony

Not much to be said here, just tried a few designs to find something that is both accessible and looks similar to the show.

2nd Floor Private Chamber

Twilight's bedroom and the private quarters of the library. Like the main chamber on the first floor this one was changed to fit the scene. And again, like the main chamber, there are enough scenes to piece together a working layout.

2nd Floor Writing Desk

Off to the side of the private chamber, this window and desk is one of the only scenes we actually see Owloysius' perch.

2nd Floor Balcony

Landing location for flying equines, and a nice relaxing spot to read while catching a few rays of the sun on beautiful days.

3rd Floor Observation Deck

A frustrating section to build simply because all scenes involving the observation deck are from the front and never show how the deck leads into the tree itself. I think I came up with a reasonable solution.

Basement Laboratory

Probably the hardest to make room for shear fact there are not enough scenes to pick apart for it. Half the room was whipped up simply because it seemed like things not seen could work there, and the majority of problems came from creating facsimiles of the machinery and tree roots.

Hope you enjoyed the tour!

Despite the Euclidean pony architecture adapted as the scene calls for it, there are occasions the show has scenes with comparable features in them. This allows a creation that matches the majority of scenes and also allows for an overall eye-pleasing design.

Cat tax.

A litter of abandoned kittens I've cared for and found homes as cat tax for those of you that read through the album.

I'm sorry but I can't grasp the concept of bronies. I accept you but will only do so from afar.

Nicely done with dem blocks. But those ponies will consume your damned soul!

I'm a spawn from the hells known as Alaska. I have no soul to consume.

As much as I despise Bronies, this is fairly well made so +1

Yeah, I actually read through it all. I usually dislike both pony and minecraft posts, so... Good job

Thank you. When I build in MC I try to keep as close to the source as possible while still being pleasing to the eye, since it's all blocks.

Was this ever made into a download?

Unfortunately no. The computer I was working on this project on turned into a brick when the power supply failed with everything around 75% finished. In theory I could recover it from the HDD if I can pull the drive from the laptop, but I'm not in any position to do so in the short term due to my current living situations.

I totally understand. Sorry I took so long to reply. Hope you're doing OK.
