When known scammers hop on the bandwagon, you know you have found a legit scam.

NFTs - you get to add your name to a digital list of other people that also own the same thing.

There's a sucker born every minute.

She's realizing she'll have to be able to afford her lifestyle when it all comes crashing down. The desperate will try anything.

Didn't some guy in Miami recently sell an invisible sculpture for like $20k? There's no shortage of stupid people with money out there.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Who? Who's that washed up hooker?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Alternate title: "Tell me NTF's are a scam without telling me it's a scam"

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

If any Trump is involved in NFTs, then it is 100% certain that they are a scam.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They are of her squinty, snobby eyes… so awful and dumb

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

can't really tell she has any, tbh

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lmaooooo of course the Trumps know a scam they can get on board with when they see one

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I laughed ...then read the part where it said some profits were going to charity...and we know how that goes for the Trumps

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

please please please hackers wreck her NFT scam

Friends/family will buy to money launder. Prolly use campaign funds.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hey, I just paid a shitloat of money for someone who doesn't own a thing to go online and say I own it!

Stolen from another post:

I do Not Fucking Tcare

If her art is anything like the way she decorated the white house it will fail miserably.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Could be porn though. I bet loads of Trump humpers would pay for her nudes.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Her nudes are already free on the internet though. And they are the young version.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Saving this to send to the next person to tell me I should start doing NFT's

4 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 2

Using real cash pretending to buy a file on the internet is stupider than pretending to buy a plot of land on the moon.

I tried so hard to understand with nfpr and I still don't. Can someone explain like I am the village idiot?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Blockchain technology that allows for verified ownership of a unique digital asset.Jpegs.Music. Royalties, Credentials r current use cases.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's a scam. Don't bother.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I get that. I still don't know what they are

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's a digital token that can't be copied due to the nature of blockchain. Those tokens often contain Metadata such as pictures, music etc

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Metadata CAN be copied however. Which is where the "save as" thing comes from. The token itself however stays in your wallet

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

grifts get griftier

4 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 1

More like another way to launder money from the RNC and PACs into Trump accounts.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

100% this

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What is a NFT?

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

...I wouldn't ask that on here unless you want a pretty heavily biased answer.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 7

Buying the receipt of someones else’s purchase

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Its a blockchain based technology thats allows for a unique digital item to be owner verified. Currently has a art bubble.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's like the old name a star companies, you pay for a Token that has a link to an image, but no one looking at the image has a link back

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

to your ownership of it, and the link is hosted elsewhere so it's entirely within the hosts power to just turn it off or change it.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

nearest i can tell is it is basically "buying" the rights or ownership of a particular internet file. Which considering how easy it is to

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

copy really anything on the internet, is stupid and pointless

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

You buy the ability to control what number a url is associated with, and pretend that gives you the right to a file the url points to.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Can't the entire family just go away already?

4 years ago | Likes 269 Dislikes 1

Kind of hard when most of the posts on here are people still obsessed with Trump. Maybe move on? Imgur is a TDS echo chamber

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Preferably someplace with iron bars and soap-dropping friends.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

you mean like the Kardashians?

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Not as long as people keep throwing money in their face, no.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

So you're allowed to throw things in their faces, as long as they're valueable? Hm... *googles 'how to gold-coat an axe'*

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

be jailed forever…

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When the grifting is so easy? Pffft

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To Metaland?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Send them on a plane somewhere that never returns

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are attention whores. No they can’t.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not.if Imgur can help it..

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

NFTs do not legally help in any way. It's 100% a scam focused on really stupid people.

4 years ago | Likes 304 Dislikes 9

NFTs are a legally recognized receipt though, so in that respect they're quite effective at proving a transaction happened. And only that

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

Currently yes. Supposedly once the metaverse kicks off, they will have actual utility. But this is like the Trumps wading into Dot Coms.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 12

Jeeeeeesus. All you have to do is say "This is what someone says it will be used for" and you get downvoted. Fuckin amazing.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Just like the MAGA movement.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Dude, before the Internet that was called "selling the Brooklyn Bridge".

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If dumbass people wanna give up their money that easily let them.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My friend sold one of his photographs as an NFT for $44,000 nzd, changed his life.

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

It changed his life in two ways: he made a chunk of money, but also sold someone on a fake investment opportunity.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Not yet at least, but I'd like to figure out the while burning down a forest to process a transaction thing before trying to implement them

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

Mid 2022. Proof of stake mostly resolves this.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

god I wish I got into it sooner.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Where*ever* is she going to find an audience for her NFTs!

4 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

I am actually not sure, bc her audience is not of the NFT traders kind

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

But they're of the stupid variety that's easily separated from their money

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The TECHNOLOGY behind NFTs is very useful. Drivers license, mortgage, ID, all sorts of useful stuff.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

A final authority is needed for that kind of thing, Aka the state.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The state can use new technologies, yeah? Didn't say it has to be anonymous and not state condoned

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But are we having problems with any of that tho?

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it’s called identity theft. If only a there were a new tech that let us verify the authenticity of original documents in seconds

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It took me two months to get a new birth certificate, so I'd love that process to be improved, yeah

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah, could replace the overhead of the dmv/public records/mortgage documentation/credit scores/etc

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wish there was a way to use it for voting?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most blockchains already have a system of voting.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Couldn’t we use it as a way to identify each American? Then vote using our blockchain to prevent fraud?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’ve heard this idea talked about before. Would love to see the current 2 party system melt down because of it.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't see why not. Already talks about a digital dollar

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The whole crypto/blockchain is a scam

4 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 12

Some are for sure, but concept is solid. Bitcoin will be around for a long time.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Really? How?

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

Majority of it is stolen art and it's just a jpeg. That's it. You own a jpeg. At the cost of the environment. Congrats.

Just like most stocks it's only value is as a speculative commodity. Basically massive legal pyramid scheme. No reason to exist.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

Sorry….you need to educate yourself on what crypto and blockchain tech is

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Sure, lots of crypto scams out there but not all are. Crypto/Blockchain is the future, just like internet in the 90’s, iPhones, Uber, etc

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

People will hate on it until they have no choice but to adapt. Instead of resisting do future you a favor and learn about it now

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but even less so because good stocks at least represent the potential of a real company and growth. Crypto is only itself.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

That’s not what stocks represent.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That’s not true at all lol maybe meme coins but there are real companies doing real things in crypto

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Meaning with crypto, someone must loose out for others to win, a hallmark of pyramid schemes.
