Holy crap, first time most viral. I don't know what to say.....Send nudes and old forwarded funny work emails?

Gmail's got your back

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I literally just did this 10 mins ago..

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've done this so many times.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can relate to this all too well. Fuck me, am I a disaster sometimes.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

You can add a script to outlook to also check for attachments if you use attach or similar in your email.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Perfectly Type got me loopin....

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Posts comment. Forgets to include me-me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The best is when you did attach it, but it didn't upload all the way before sending.

Type as in future tense. Since the scene is him revealing his plan he hasn't started yet

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know that feeling and it always happened when I sent email to someone senior. Outlook prompts me now.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

new outlook catches this

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yessss, love it. My job consists of a lot of emails containing “Please find the attached policy and sent to blah blah”. Godsend. Lol

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thats why I attach the file first, then write the mail and lastly fill in the e-mail addresses. So you won't forget and dubbelcheck the mail

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Most mail applications nowadays, remind you if the word "attached" is in the email. Handy!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is why i have a send delay. That is me having to write a command to send mail, after i pressed send.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mailbird reminds you too. Better than Outlook and free!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TIL Outlook isn't free...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It isn't. Outlook online is free but.... Eh

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Need a mail program/app that asks “remember your attachments, fool!!” Every time you hit send.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Will it say it in a Mr. T voice?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Microsoft outlook does this if you mention the word “attach” in an email and don’t have one on it. Saved me a few times at work.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Gmail does it if it detects the word "attached" in the body of the email. Very useful.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I hate this meme so much.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don’t mind this as much as the idiot responses of “are you sure? Maybe your Outlook removed it” from people who NEVER ADDED THE FILE.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

“No, I get csv files daily. Go back and try again...you can even use that attachment-less email in your Sent folder as a starting point.”

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How?! I’m pretty sure this hasn’t been an issue since outlook 2007.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lotus notes

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I keep forgetting that this is a thing in 2018.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So is this marches meme?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This literally just happened to me. Thank god they're so kind about it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thunderbird reminds you

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Both Gmail and Outlook remind you to attach. What are you using, Excite.com?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lotus notes

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have my email set to undo sending an email. Really helps if I accidentally send it or don't attach a file.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Great post! Attaching nudes!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looking forward to then

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Get Outlook 16

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 3

Or use gmail for free. It does this in the web client.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Came here to say this. Outlook will remind you if you type the word attachment and don’t have an attachment.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I don't have any choice over what I use at work. Stuck with lotus notes :/

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Nobody spoil what happens post-1998 for this guy, better he discovers it all for himself.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Gmail will stop and say "You mentioned an attachment bud did not attach anything" or something along those lines.

8 years ago | Likes 342 Dislikes 0

Just wanna say, Gmail will also allow you to manually activate a feature that holds emails before sending to allow you to undo sending them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is why I always reference the attachment in the body of the email whenever I send anything.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's also polite.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Outlook 2016 does this too. Super Helpful.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes! Has helped me out before

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit, just tried this by sending an email to myself it it stopped me!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s as helpful as it is creepy. They have to read and analyze your email to know you said you attached something.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Analyze"? It's just a script reacting to the word "attachment". No more invasive than a spellchecker.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Outlook too

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Lots of up-to-date email services provide this... Shame Gmail is the top comment though...especially during the whole FB ordeal.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Maybe outlook web, but the pc client doesn't remind you. happened a million times to myself

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mine does, with outlook 2013

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whoever came up with this idea needs a raise!

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

It's a useful feature; however, this kinda feature sometimes leads to invasive stuff that we DON'T like.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s why so many companies offer free email services

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup, exactly. But free sometimes means we give up privacy. Don't get me wrong, I use Gmail and Facebook, but...just an interesting thought.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like so many peoples information get stolen and sold so often that the world can sympathize with itself and just doesn't care anymore

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Getchu some thunderbird. Reminds you to attach when you mention an attachment.

8 years ago | Likes 205 Dislikes 2

I would love this if it weren't for the fact that I'm foreign and type a drastically low number of English emails.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know it works for german, I assume other languages as well.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Postbox does as well, if you try to hit send it pops up a warning- 'Hey you said 'see attached', did you mean to attach some shit dummy?'

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Your self-deprecating humility is unfamiliar here in the comments section

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Gmail does that for me

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

One word.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thundercougarfalconbird.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The bird.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So does Outlook, finally.

8 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 0

I think Gmail does too

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Yes, if you write the word attached in the email

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Does it? I gave up on outlook when the first quarter 2017 update made it unusable. Glad to hear they fixed it.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

It sure does, and people routinely click-through and send empty emails anyway.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Discovering Ctrl+Enter means send has caused me to send way too many typos in the last word.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’ve knocked out some pretty awful partial emails due to that, and my work is glued to Outlook so I get replies before I can correct.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did that for the first time today.
