A Tale of a girl and her tools

On June 14th, I came home from a wedsing planning trip to find my property had been broken on to. Someone stole every tool I owned. And for anyone who knows me, knows my tools are my world. Brand new Dewalts, trimmers, every bit, zip tie, grandfathers tools (he died 31 years ago) and blue tooth speaker had been stolen.

They thrashed it all. Went through all they could.

They were nice enough to leave my $100 lights I was about to install.

Stole everything but they missed my clamps, so that was nice.

3 dewalt drill kits, gone. The one i bought the day i got hired at my job to celebrate, gone. I was crushed. But more so, i was fucking pissed! So the next morning, i started looking for mine and my 82 year old dad's tools.

I tracked down one of my trimmers. A guy had bought it, fixed it and was reselling it. Took 2 days, but i got the trimmer back. He bought it from someone on letgo. There it was. The ad with all my tools in it. I wanted to stab someone. But i resisted. I got the cops involved.

We got the storage unit our tools were in, locked down. Took a week for a search warrant. By the time we got into it, we were only able to find $600 of our tools. None of our bigger tools. Just my small tools. All my drills, wood burning tools, it was all gone.

We know who the guy is..we have his name. We know where he lives(homeless as of 3 months ago) and we know his accomplice is an informant for the cops. We also know he came to our yard sale. He fucking scoped us because we were tryingn to make some money for our wedding.

I never knew it possible to feel so much like shit because of something someone else did. I use those tools to make extra money to pay bills. And it fucking sucks because i dont have the money to replace them. House insurance deductible is as high as the amount stolen so we cant even do that.

Sorry to vent but it just fucking sucks that there are such douchetools on this planet. And its people like me and his other victims who get fucked over because some dicksmuggler wont get a fucking job like the rest of us.

I dont make shit. I work 3 jobs. Still scrap by and yet it has never crossed my mind to fuck someone else over.

Long story short. Life sucks. People fucking blow. But at least i got my bluetooth speaker back. So i got that going for me.
