I have to believe that even Jesus himself would find the tales of his made-up BFF (Biff) as funny. I mean, Jesus had to have a sense of humor. Not blasphemous, just fun.

Front page edit: Christopher Moore people are the best people!

I love Christopher Moore books.

It was so humanizing. I love the idea of over-caffinated teen Jesus bouncing through the market healing people like he's playing tag

“Blessed are the dumb fucks”

The Stupidest Angel is another great one.

Bite Me was his first book I bought. I'm not really an avid reader but damn was that a good one. Must recommend.

A friend of mine gave me this book after a relative passed, it made me smile and lifted my mood. Great book

Jesus spent his adult life traveling around with a bunch of fishermen and prostitutes. You can't tell me he didn't laugh to "blue" humor.

Love Christopher Moore. If you enjoy him, check out "Love in the Time of Fridges," and "Monster." Scott and Martinez are a lot like Moore.

One of my favorite books. Check out Island of the Sequined Love-Nun. Wild ride. Oh, and Dirty Job, I think it is, new reapers out to grim

I just started it! I was looking for something a little light and funny and weird and quirky and so hopefully it will fill the bill.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hope so, it's certainly different that any other I've read and I fell in love with the way he tells a story. So funny.

To quote my Dad, 'If God doesn't have a sense of humor, then he's no God I'd want to spend the afterlife with anyway.'

That's the right answer. The Warrior Babe fight with the Angel is my all time favorite scene from any book.

Y'all who haven't read it ..yeah it's somehow actually more unhinged than I made it sound. It's just lovely.

Recently read this to my wife, and discovered several clever jokes I missed cuz I don’t know Bible school songs.

"Sacré Bleu" and "Noir" are both very good. I'm not as big of a fan of his Vampire and/or Pocket series'

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I like the story of the vampire series but not that the timeline and language don’t jive.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The pine Cove 'series' is good. Practical DemonKeeping, Lust Lizards and Stupidest Angel.
