I stand with the people of Ukraine. Russia is the aggressor, it is high time they leave Ukraine and respect the peace. Ukrainians are a strong people, they deserve a better life, free of the Russian threat
Over 50 years ago, Polish writer Marek Hłasko wrote in his autobiography: "Experience (of being Eastern European) is incommunicable; we could convince the people of Paris or the people of Milan dreaming of communism of the misery of this endeavor only if Soviet tanks appeared on the streets of Paris or Milan."
Carney attended virtually, same as France and Britain, he's getting ready for a big visit to India. We also committed to givibg like 2.02 billion in aid, embargoing russia, and a bunch of other freebies so we can keep the Ukraine going. But no, we didn't physically fly in.
I made chicken Kyiv (Keev) a few weeks ago and my "husband" tried to correct me that it was pronounce Kiev (key-ev). I used it as an opportunity to discuss the Ukrain war with my kids.
yeah, a few years ago we watched a few vids and also got my brother in law (been out of Ukraine for 30 years) to help us... not easy to get it exact so we just use "keev". as long as we don't pronounce it like the invaders and get it closer to how the locals pronounce it.

Italy is missing because we are USA puppets governed by an even more puppets-style politician group, with a touch of nostalgic view on fascism.

Since von der Leyen is there, I'm gonna say it's just the kids from the EU.

More like "ki-yeev", where the "ki" is pronounced like the "ki" in "kill".

I heard someone say the way to pronounce Kyiv is to make sort of a "ku" sound but don't say the U out loud, then say "yiv"
