He does a beep boop - his name is Texas. FP edit: He turned 13 in November. Also consider hugging someone lovingly today :)

I have a Jack Russell that I got her 6 of those exact piggy squeekers, from Tractor Supply, for Christmas, she loves destroying them !

My dog does this with all his squeaky toys! He can easily squeaky it by biting it but he just wants to squeeze it this way.

Honk the beeper.

Trust a Dachshund to find a way to do what they want. :-)

That dachshund looks chubby. He'll live a longer life with less chance of IVD (a bad back) if he's a healthy weight!

Texas is a mighty old hound and I love him @OP.

I liked mine when he was short, but then he started growing up and I didn’t want him any longer.

I see what you did there!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had two, Burt and Ernie. They were the best.

We got our boys toys that have squerkers only they can hear. Best investment ever.

This is great, I keep waiting until my dogs asleep and playing it.

Dogs like squeaky toys because it mimics the sound of a small animal screaming to death

5 years ago | Likes 396 Dislikes 4

Yeah my dog hates any toy we get her thats squeaky like that

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That explains why my sister used to hit me growing up.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Given the sound of a rock chuck (yellow-bellied marmot), I would be inclined to say 'Yes'.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had to take the squeak out because my Amstaff cried if it squeaked. The thought it was a pupper.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But have you ever seen how happy the dog is with it? Adorable!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can confirm, I've heard both ?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's why I listen to baby crying sounds when I do sparring practice

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My min pin/dachshund/chihuahua rescue loves killing small animals (I have a pet cemetery of bunnies and rats to prove it... :( But she 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

is bored and/or uninterested with squeaky toys. She just doesn't give a shit about them. 3/3

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And human babies just the same?

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Humans like video games about war and hunting because?...

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

MFW my shithead destroys every gd toy to get to the squeeker within 4 minutes of purchase ...

"Human! I crave death!" v

Woah dude this was not the first thing I expected to read today.

5 years ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 1

It's also why we like them.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Strangely, it was the first thing I was expecting to read today.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean yes and no. The sound mimics that and they're programmed to feel good hearing that sound, but that would be like saying humans 1/2

Enjoy processed sugar because is a convenient version of fruit. While there is an underlying biological mechanism, satisfying it 2/3

"Artificially" need not resemble (or carry the emotional trauma) of how it is satisfied "naturally"

So you are saying that an orange is hurting when I eat it like Mel Gibson getting his guts pulled out in Braveheart?

You started with 1/2 then 2/3. Excuse my OCD.

As someone who has OCD, excuse it yourself
