Found this and thought I would share.

It's even worse when you're wearing climbing shoes, and are 30+feet up the wall.

Started to happen earlier today. I yelled at my foot for half a minute to 'not do this to me', and it stopped.

I try to scratch my ear with my shoulder and it cramps my trapezius and I have to just lie there trying not to die.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup, happened to me on my bicycle when making a left turn onto a buys road.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No. Because I'm not a pussy.

Coming from a pain junkie, I like foot cramps and make my feet do it a lot.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You need potassium.

I sprained my foot last week and for 48 hrs it felt like a constant cramp/charlie horse. I expected my toes to be turned upside-down.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Got a Charlie horse oncein the middle of the night. It's a shitty wake up call

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have this thing where, sometimes, I get a huge pain in my shoulders and collarbone when I do a huge yawn. It will last for about 15secs.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I yawn sometimes and my jaw locks.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup then it feels like your bending your foot in half like those lotus feet from china

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or when you wake up with your face in the pillow and you can't move at all and you're nearly suffocating. Fun times.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds like fun ;)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pull your big toe towards you and massage your arch

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Straighten leg, point toes towards you. Pray to god you did that fast enough.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always imagined an asteroid or nuclear holocaust but I guess leg cramps are the way to go...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I keep getting these I drink loads of water, have no blood clots, but yet I suffer these very time I move my leg weird. :/ it's a cruel fate

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Every time it happens I am grateful I am a male and don't need to worry about it every month.

My toes go full on spasm/Charlie horse on my if I point my foot wrong, it's god awful Painful!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Flat feet?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

oh this again.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I flex my everything wrong

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah and it's gotten worse as I've gotten older. Every time I get a pain anywhere I think death is right around the corner.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

What?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

;-)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I am now on year 3 of avoiding said leg cramp. WHEN it happens...it was a nice life..

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You will be missed.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If it's happening at night drink more water before bed. It can be linked to dehydration.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also, low potassium levels. Eat a banana or take a supplement.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Indeed. Make sure you emphasize the word "eat" in eat a banana because here people use the things as rulers.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Grab your toes and pull your foot upwards.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If only I could reach them...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This happens to me sometimes when I'm sleeping. I wake up in pain and curl into a ball, forcing my foot to extend the opposite direction.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have this thing where a sharp pain on the side of my chest comes. I can't breath well without it hurting until the pain feels like it pops

10 years ago | Likes 112 Dislikes 0

Might be a subluxation of the rib. A chiro adjustment could help.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that's bad, you'll be dead in 10

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've had this my whole life and when I was a kid I used to lie there and cry bc I didn't want to tell my parents I was going to die

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also didn't mean to rhyme haha

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shit I thought it was just me who gets them! It's so strange always makes me think this time it's a heart attack for sure

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry but that's cancer you have 38 hours to live

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

Better than mine. My ribcage will "lock up" until I put my arms behind my back and I can feel the breast plate "pop" happens few times a yr

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When this happens to me, I go poop a lot and I'm better. I think when I'm constipated somethings rubs against my ribs. Pregnancy was a bitch

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sincerely, this is the most hilarious reply to read after a comment 2 months ago. Thank you for making my day. And I'm glad pooping helps!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Glad my pooping after severe pain from my ribs made you laugh.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same, Bruh.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've been having chest pains lately and usually it's just burps not wanting to leave. Lazy burps, get a job.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I bend over a lot at work. If I stretch my back too hard, I get a somewhat sharp pain on one side of my waist/upper hip. bodies are weird.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have the same thing, I broke a rib and didn't know it and it healed wrong. Occasionally it pops out of place and I lock up, shit hurts yo

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're called rib splints, it's when your muscles are just rubbing against your rib cage weirdly. I put my arms back and stretch it out

10 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 0

Well didn't think I would have knowledge dropped in me that I've been wondering for years. Have an appreciative updoot.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Thaks! Happens on n a while, out of nowhere. Knows nothings wrong with me, but I hate it!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you, has happened for years and I never understood why.

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Thanks for your input as well. I'll try and stretch it out better. It just gets a bit painful sometimes I don't even wanna move.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have no idea what it is. I haven't died from it, but it sure as hell feels like it sometimes.

10 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

It's called Precordial Catch Syndrome. Took me years to find out.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I kinda like it...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A muscle gets pulled. I used to have them a lot. Eat more potassium rich foods. Same thing that prevents cramps.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Hey thanks! I'll try that. If it doesn't happen again 2 months from now, expect an abrasive yet loving message thanking you!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lots of bananas and water really helped me at least. Here's to hoping it does something for you as well
