"Indie" games on Steam: See those mountains? They are actually anime girls with huge bazongas in disguise.

Ubisoft is getting pretty EA-ish these days as well, the For Honor Gold debacle to my knowledge still is not solved.

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

And they all have tragic, obscure backstories that will make you feel bad for murdering them

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

but only if you play for 60000000 hours to find the stories, or go read the wiki

This is so 2007

Also there're succubus and wizards on it. All with fascinating stories, clever and witty dialogues. And you can fuck them.

"Also, you missed a Gwent card in there. Good luck, fucker."

The combat is nothing special and the environment interaction can be frustrating, but once you settle in and let the...

I stopped buying EA games along time ago

7 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 4

The I got was Titanfall 2. And they put that game out to die

Here we see the rare cousin of the Alot

the first battlefront remake was the last straw. Just a big steamy pile of fuck you give me money

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I think the last EA game I bought was medal of honor, rising sun

A raising in the sun was good.

FUCKING 1 SHOT WELROD ALL DAY SON

Damn that was a great game

Imagine an amazing remaster with no micro transactions and great graphics. I'd probably die happy

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit! PS2?

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

YES! loved that game

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

All my friends are hyped on Anthem. They think I'm weird for not buying EA games on principle.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a bioware game. They may be published/owned by EA, but they're not letting them do their bullshit with anthem

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only in game monetization will be cosmetics (no lootboxes), and all future content/story updates will be free.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Money to them is money to EA. Man has to have his principles.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Bioware is still one of my favorite developers (Andromeda debacle notwithstanding, different story), I won't let EA kill another studio 1/2

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, that won't REALLY hurt EA, it'll just give them an excuse to shut down bioware

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bioware = EA now.

7 years ago | Likes 234 Dislikes 4

EA: You see those mountains? They're not supposed to be there. This game is buggy.

DON'T REMIND ME

For however long they have left existing...

To be fair there is till a lot of fucking in there game

Inquisition was made under EA and was very good. Andromeda killed all hope for me. I will not be buying Anthem, and encourage others not to.

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 5

Inquisition is okay but many cool features got ripped out. And the fucking horse riding...why did they even put it in when it's so bad?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Andromeda was developed by a sub studio(Montreal) that had never worked on a triple A game. the main one was working on anthem.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love the idea for Anthem and I'm super excited. Gonna wait a long time before buying it to see just how fucked EA made it.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I enjoyed Andromeda, but didn't thibk it was a good game

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Back then there was a resemblance of the original studio left. EA has slowly and deliberately killed that over time

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Also, unless Anthem is a massive success (Which so far seems doubtful) then Bioware is almost assuredly going to close down.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That's what EA wants, and that's what Hasbro did, in the 90s IIRC.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im interest in anthem but cautious, not gonna decide buy it until a month after release so I can see if it's worth it

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It will take quite a bit to change my mind, and current gameplay doesn't really look great (to me, a hardcore rpg guy)

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

DA:I was meh. Dragon Age: The MMO. Cassandra was bae though, so I guess it had some good parts.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I hated Da 2 and thought DAI was ok but boring and your choices didn't really mattter. The war map was a dumb idea. Origins is awsome.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I am pretty much the same

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That was a Bungie dev who famously said "See those mountains? You can go there". Referring to pre release Destiny. Turned out you couldn't.

7 years ago | Likes 94 Dislikes 1

Turns out you can actually go all over a section of a small part of the Cosmodrome instead, but look at them fuckin' mountains!

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I was so disappointed in that game.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I loved it and was completely addicted but have friends that hated it. Destiny was weird like that. You either loved it or hated it.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Bethesda's mememaster Todd Howard said "See That Mountain? You Can Climb It." in 2011 about Skyrim. The Bungie quote is a cheap copy.

7 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Yea I’m not that into gaming but even I recognised that as Todd’s most meme-able catchphrase, aside from “it just works.”

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

"See That Mountain? You Can Ride Up It On A Horse."

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"See that mountain? It just works."

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure this was arenanet with guild wars.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I was a hardcore Destiny player and remember that distinctly. It was quite the little controversy within the Destiny community.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was thinking that. Destiny was never anything but a small map co-op title

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In GW2 this was pretty true, though. That game was amazing at launch. Huge view distances and a filter that made it look like art. /1

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Like you'd be down at a farm fighting off centaurs, see a windmill up on a distant hill a mile away, and go check it out. /2

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You'd climb the windmill, find a skill point inside of it, turn and look at the farm you left 30 minutes ago in the distance. /3

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And it'd look like a painting of a vista, but with the little people and creatures moving around doing their thing. /4
