9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you sure this isn't viral marketing for the sweetened condensed milk people?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was recently handed an open can of condensed milk to see if I could make anything with the rest, and I instinctively started eating it.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I am not a smart or healthy man.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

BRIGADEIROOOOO, brazilian dessert

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

so nobody is gonna meantion the spelling error of diabetes?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The person who wrote that headline is a dumbass. It should be diabeetus .

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Brigadeiro - a common Brazilian delicacy. Yummy!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

PSA: There is not causal link of sugar consumption and diabetes

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(not counting the implied link of diabetes and sugary beaverages)(Also, always talking bout Type II. Vastly different)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That makes my teeth hurt looking at it

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

I have vague memories of these from graduations/large gathering. I remember them being so sweet it hurt my tongue.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wait that happens to other people too?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I don't know who are you but i love you

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a brazillian candy and its called "brigadeiro".

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What temperature should I set it on?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The hob that it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Basically bring to boil while constantly stirring. When it appears ready, set aside on/in a trray/container and let cool....

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And grab small portions in your buttered hands and roll into balls

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn, repeat recipes here, gif too fast

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Right click image -> show controls -> pick time, and pause at your pleasure.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Not on a mobile device!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well.. Why not get proper mounted device? :O I mean surely you must at least know someone who has one, so you can write the recipe down?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Time to check my sugar levels

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

probably between 70 and 140, depending on excercise and time since the last meal.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Type 1 here, would most likely be in the 800s after this if I didn't take 10000 units of insulin beforehand

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

all of those look and sound revolting

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

This is one of those things where looks are very deceiving. Quite delicious! Unless you're one of those folks that dislike sweets

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i like sweet things. this is basically pure sugar and looks gross

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Jokes on you! I already have the diabetus, so I'll just die! :)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same haha!! Are you type 1 or 2?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Type 1 have been about 18 years (since I was 10). How about you?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm T1 as well! Only for about a year and a half though

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had a night where I just could not drink enough water and would pee like every 30 minutes, then I went to the doc How did you find out?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had the same symptoms.Long story short, my PCP sent me to the ER because of my heart rate. They thought I had a clot until my labs came in

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is there something wrong with me? Everyone at home here says that they would love to eat this. Meanwhile I'm gagging just watching it.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

What's wrong with you???

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They're basically just sweetened condensed milk nuggets.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I feel you

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you look around a room and cant spot the weirdo :)

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Oh god I knew it

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They all look really gross..maybe it's the consistancy... perhaps if they were frozen...

9 years ago | Likes 479 Dislikes 14

That's about right, it's a chocolate truffle bit usually coated in cocoa powder

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

White trash truffles.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 10

We have those in every kids birthday party in Brazil. We love them! The classic one is called Brigadeiro.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

If you have a higher chocolate/condensed milk ratio it'll set up more like fudge.

9 years ago | Likes 73 Dislikes 0

Not frozen, just needs some thing to actually let them set IMHO, icing sugar maybe?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Crushed biscuits. In Australia we use milk arrowroot biscuits. Don't know the equivalent for other countries.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

What would you do with them? Crush them up and put them in the first mixture? Genuinely curious here.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. The recipes are basically variations on rum balls.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For some reason I divided that arrowroot as arro-wroot. And was just, yeah, that sounds very Australian *nods knowingly*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll get a better consistency if you add crushed biscuits. In Australia we use milk arrowroot biscuits.

9 years ago | Likes 338 Dislikes 2

Another good thing to use is crushed vanilla wafers. (vanilla biscuits ?) I'm American, so it's wafers to us.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Arrowroot with butter and sugar. Or icing, Smarties and jelly beans for faces. Damn, I miss being a kid. Couldn't handle all that sugar now.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Cool. I thought it was a Hungarian thing to make it with crushed biscuits.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My dad used to get mad we ate his arrowroot cookies...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used to eat them in a bowl with milk and sugar. Haven't done that for years. Might go buy a packet tomorrow.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Block of chocolate, arrowroot biscuits and sweetened condensed milk is the recipe I use. So yummy.

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

Never made them with actual chocolate. But I have made them with Tim Tam's. They were a bit soft. Probably needed less condensed milk.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yeah i add milo as well.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And rum at Christmas....

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I once made them with Milo and Tim Tams. They were delicious, and so so Australian.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I now need to try this

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As an American, you really confused me for a second there.

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

I was confused because I did grow up on "chocolate gravy and biscuits"

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We called it sop chocolate. Because you sop your biscuit in the chocolate gravy. So good

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was my first meal. Parents told me of them walking in to see my grandma feeding it to me.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ohyeah, biscuits for you yanks is some kind of dinner bread thing, right? Gotta make myself that one day and see how it tastes. With gravy.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

We don't have it in Canada but it's very good

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Make sure it's the right gravy! They're best with sawmill gravy (milk gravy) with breakfast sausage crumbled up in it.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Easy gravy recipe: cook breakfast sausage in a pan, add salt, pepper and sage to taste. Do not drain the grease. Add 1/4 cup 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Or 57 grams of AP flour to the pan and mix until coated. Add up to 2 cups of milk SLOWLY to the pan until it reaches your desired constancy

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Add more salt, pepper and sage to taste and stir occasionally so it doesn't burn. Put on top of buttermilk biscuits
