Hickles when tit?

People complain about unrealistic shotguns but they they had to nerf the 1887's in MW2 because people were getting killed across the map.

When hit tickles

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unless it’s the BO2 KSG, which had sniper rifle range.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not in Payday 2. Shotguns are outstanding any range weapon in that game

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol these comments

Critical hit forces victim to laugh. Always Critical hit from behind. Critical hits do no damage.

Learned about your GF's reflexes the hard way huh?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When tickled hits.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that's something else

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

That's a pretty rationale response imo.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I do that.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

My SO learnt that the hard way

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Unless your Reaper, asshole can snipe with shotguns.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In Bad Company 2 I used shotguns as long range weapons

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What does it do when hit?

Pickles.

Saw another post about shotguns today, is this referencing something?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Amungst my friends we call any game that does this as having 'sawdust syndrome'

Hickles when tit

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Most games I've played that allow slug ammunition in shottys actually have the gun work at distance. Its the ones using shot that don't.

When hit tickles

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Common misconception, shotguns at range don't tickle, they simply alert your opponent of: your position and your inability to do them harm.

Don't forget to aim, when aiming it decreases the spread, why because forget physics

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 3

The physics can be purchased for 9.99 through ea

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No, physics lootbox with a 0,071% chance for that. Otherwise you get stuff like 700 credits. And everything costs around 100,000 credits.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In most modern fps games a single point within the crosshair is chosen for the pellets to spread from, meaning that when you 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

aim the pellets spread from exactly where you're aiming, effectively reducing the spread.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ready, fire, aim!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Well you know if you attach a laser sight and a scope your shotgun works from 200 yards.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

slug rounds never hurt either

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

sorry correction they hurt very badly

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, very, very badly.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The problem with shotguns in games is that since the levels are so small, making shotguns realistic would likely just make them overpowered.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

. . . like in Far Cry 2.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Insurgency has pretty good shotguns.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'd imagine so, it does seem to be one of those games that focuses on realism and "immersion" rather than game balance.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The balance is actually pretty good with the role restrictions. You can't face an entire team of snipers or shotgun bunnies.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but that's a lame way of doing that. In real life you won

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

't win with a shit ton of shotguns and snipers

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Just a reminder of how powerful a shotgun actually is https://imgur.com/wPZOP5d

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 3

It was fired into a fragile solid. I could do that with a fucking hammer.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What about from 20

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

/a/xaid5 this should explain it better

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I mean, you're shooting ice. Shooting something like ballistics gel would be a better reminder.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Considering buckshot from a 12 gauge at that range would make the ballistics gel explode it would be objectively better.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

True it would show how much penetration a shotgun shell would have, but having the ice block shows its power after all replace it with a man

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

But the whole point of ballistics gel is to simulate our own internal beefy goodness. Gimme a slow-mo video of that instead of ice.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Google it? There's reviews of all kinds of shit with ballistics gel.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Whats the upper range for a shotgun being able to reliably down ,say, a deer

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

With a slug? Hundreds of meters, if you got a reasonably accurate one.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends on a lot of factors such as the type of shell and the gun but usually its around 25 to 50 yards

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

60 meters top with 000 buckshot

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

With a 12 gauge*

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That looks like a slug. Could be neat if you could swap shotgun ammunition in a game.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Can do it in Fallout New Vegas

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bad company 2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games you could mix different shells in the same reload.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Arma 3 has pretty much every class of shotgun ammo under the sun

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I must confess that I am not hard enough to play Arma.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In BF3 and 4 you could choose between buckshot, slug, flechette, and fragmentation

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But you had to keep it for that class. I think they meant mid game

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I haven't played it myself but i know that in the new call of duty you can swap between a basic shell and an incendiary round

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

STALKER trilogy. makes the starter shotguns pretty much lethal till exoskeletons come into the party. also barrel length impacts acc+range.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the under over with slugs caps stalkers at 90+ meters with insolent ease.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In DOOM you can switch between a shell to an explosive. And the new COD too

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You could in fallout new Vegas, don't know why it wasn't included in 4 especially with the weapon modding mechanic.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Different developers

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm well aware but fallout 4 took a bunch of shit from new Vegas mods, so why not the game itself?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There is a switchable ammo mod, and it is pretty cool. Though it is a bit buggy and may make some guns unusable for an unknown reason.
