They want him to run again because he removed government oversight and you can just pay to get pardoned. For rich people, who never deserve their money from merit, love to be able to make more money the way they prefer, illegally

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

To the billionaires, Trump is an easy return on investment. They dont give a fuck about the working class who's labour value they've been stealing for decades.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't understand how anyone who isn't a multimillionaire could look at this in any other way than "wow he must be doing something incredibly sketchy and beneficial for these rich people for them to want to spend THAT much money for him to go against the constitution of the united states and run for president again"

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

which is also... why does this rich person want him to run that bad. What sketchy shit has she been doing?

Is it illegal to propose to a 2nd term president a bribe for violating the constitution and lawful, peaceful transfer of power? I know no one is going to do anything about it, I just want to know if this is as blatantly illegal as it sounds.

She helped a convicted Israeli double agent leave the US to start a new life in Israel. Nothing illegal about it, Pollard had completed his parole and was free to go, but you wonder what kind of person would loan a traitor a private jet so he could fly in comfort.

Someone who willingly lives in Dallas. Says all I need to know about them.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Don’t put this on Dallas. She married a Vegas billionaire who died and then bought our basketball team only to destroy it with her idiot son-in-law.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Easy, someone who may live in the U.S. and benefits heavily from it would be help destroy it in a heartbeat because they can leave the smoking ruins afterwards and know no one is going to held them accountable.

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

She's fucking batshit, just like her husband, Jabba the Hutt.

Best thing about these two is that 95% of their existences are already in the trash can. A few more years, maybe less, and they'll both be rotting.

Mark Cuban must be losing his mind. He fuckin hates trimp. Or at least he did back in the earlier 2000s.

I bet loves money more than he hates Trump.
And I bet he doesn't hate Trump nearly as much as you think. Rich motherfuckers always stick together.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This isn't about Mark Cuban. He sold the team a couple years ago. It would be funny if it was Cuban trying to get Trump to illegally run, and divide up the GOP base.

^ effective corporate tax rate

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Trillion dollars of tax cuts gave billionaires more billions, it's about paying millions to get billions.

2 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Literally this.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you have billions buying a President for 250 million is a bargain.

2 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

That's exactly what happened. The presidency was bought. All the way. So we're stuck with a degenerate. Exactly how they wanted it to be.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a tool to get what you want instead of a means of survival for them

2 months ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 1

Yes. They are so bad managing money, that they need more and more. Trump said "be quick because $250 millions are not what they used to be". They burn it. https://imgur.com/EknuujE.mp4

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of course not. It’s how they keep score in life.

And $250M only seems like a lot of money until the tax breaks and kickbacks and regulation/oversight loosening nets them the equivalent of $750M over than next 4-year period.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

If Trump can run for a third, so can Obama. I'd love to see the SCOTUS sort that shit out.

2 months ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Oh no, they'll just rule it so that you can't run more than two CONSECUTIVE terms.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Their false argument is that only two consecutive terms would disqualify from a third term. This would disqualify Obama.
And SCOTUS is irrelevant. They either agree with Trump, or Trump ignores what they say.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

No you won't bc they will definitely do what they have been doing all along and carve out exceptions for only the child rapist in chief.

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Thing is, even if it were made legal, I doubt Obama wants to run again. That said, I'd *love* to see the insanity that a Trump/Obama race would create.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

I doubt he wants to, but I believr he would jump back in if scotus gave TFG the green light to run again.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don’t think he’d run, either. But he _should_ talk about it, just to troll the MAGAts downvoting everything Antifa on this post & comments.

That;s a fucked up ageist thing to say. I hope Bernie outlives you.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 17

I mean, most of us all live under a baby boomer gerontocracy, but that is particularly noticeable in the US.
I mean, in most jobs you reach a certain age and you just retire, go do something enjoyable and meaningful. That particular generation just can't seem to loosen their grip on power, and some are dying on the job.
Bernie shouldn't have to be working, dude has done more than anyone should. It's not about Bernie, but the fact that you still need him to fight the other old dudes...

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He has shit all over the rest of it, why stop at crossing this line?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Neither is him getting the 2nd term after the insurrection attempt he is prohibited from holding public office. But like nobody with the power gives enough of a fuck about the constitution to enforce that so I don't know why anyone would think they'd suddenly give a fuck about term limits. Either he dies of old age or he is going to TRY to get a third term whether people wake the fuck up or let him is another question but HE IS GOING TO TRY. HE HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS SINCE HIS FIRST TERM!

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Has everyone already forgotten where the republicans were all whine whine "him being impeached invalidates his first term so he can run for a third term"??

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Constitution isn’t much of a barrier when Congress has neither the will nor the impetus to do their jobs, and the SCOTUS happily rubber stamps anything Trump wants. It’s functionally useless at this point.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Found the one I wanted to post originally. Don't bother upvoting. Its all in good fun for NYE

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're not wrong but it's also not relevant because it's kind of time to stop pretending like the laws matter any more and that some magical Justice System(tm) will swoop in and stop this shit.

But it's a nation built on super hero mentality, where choice individuals are hyped up to god like status and relied on to do what's needed. There's nobody coming though. Americans still seem to think that if they just get rid of Trump things will be fine and go back to how it was.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The constitution and anything else like it are only as good as its enforcement. Trimp holds all 3 branches and has repeatedly wiped his ass with the constitution. America is almost out of inertia. We’re on our own.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You guys have got to get it through your heads that the rule of law means nothing in your country. It pretty much never has.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

So?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Bless your heart.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

What they're doing is setting up the Vance puppet government. He agreed to be a puppet in exchange for never having to actually work. Either Trump will die, or will be removed from office at his halfway point so Vance can take over under the 25th amendment. Then they are going to push him for 2028 and 2032. Erika Kirk already alluded to it

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you think he cares?

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Akkkkkktually. He can run. Not be elected.

When the entire goal is grift and de facto power (vs de jure), him taking a bunch of money and running around the country holding rallies makes a shit ton of sense.

The fucking FEC isn't going to enforce campaign finance laws to punish PACs/Super PACs. If that lady donates $250m to Trump 2028 PAC, probably $200m of it will go directly into Trump's pocket and the other $50m will pay for campaign services at Trump properties.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

That's... twisted, and entirely possible. It's not like he'd care if Republicans tried to stop him. He'd stage some kind of semi-coup-like thing where "well I won, so I won!". Tha'ts fucked up but I can sadly imagine it.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trump gets to see his name on the Florida ballot. No fucks given about JD Vance's political ambitions.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That can be changed. Prohibition was in the constitution too.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah I mean, it's just a silly little amendment added less then a hundred years ago. Probably would be hard for him to have it removed. It was added because Rosevelt was able to get 4 terms due to WW II. It feels like he is trying to start wars with everyone just so he can enact war time powers.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Like most stuff. He's absolutely going to run. The Democrats need to nut up and play by the same rules. Run Obama against him.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That would be pretty much the ONLY way for democrats to lose this election. Since most democrat voters aren't in a cult and have a conscience I guess voter turnout would be even worse than 2024 and that is the only way for repubs to win. Sad but true.

The Constitution is no longer in effect under the Kakistocratic Dictatorship of Trump, Inc.

2 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

I love that word: kakistocratic.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's such an appropriate -ocracy.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Idiocracy applies here too

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That won't stop them.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean sure but also, who's gonna stop him?

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The constitution is just old toilet paper if no one enforces it and holds people accountable

2 months ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 2

Toilet paper is useful, though. Don't go badmouthing tp! And the thing the constitution is written on wouldn't even make for good tp.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I mean people HOARDED TP! Did you ever hear of anyone hoarding the constitution?! ;)

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Imagine having crumbled old paper mixed with poop in your crack.
I'll vouch strongly for tp!

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Neither is denying due process, unlawful searches, running for president after committing crimes, denying freedom of speech, and many other things but they're doing it anyway.

2 months ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 3

There's nothing about crimes other than treason and insurrection. Any felon can run for POTUS as long as they have $100k in their bank account.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Were you asleep on Jan. 6th?

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Psst, I said treason and insurrection. The constitution doesn't care about any other crimes at all.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

And he would have to be convicted of treason or insurrection.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think they want to try him running for VP, by interpreting the 22A in the most narrow way possible.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

As creative as that sounds, it wouldn’t change anything. If the president died or left office and Trump was VP, succession would go to the Speaker of the House, then President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and so on, until they reached someone eligible.

This question has been addressed in the past. The MAGAts are simply pretending it’s a new idea.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Actually, the. VP is the only person in the line of succession that can’t be skipped over. That’s why to qualify as VP, you have to be eligible for President. If the Speaker of the House didn’t qualify, then it would skip them and go to the next position, but that isn’t the case for VP.

VP has to qualify so that upon the President’s death the VP is immediately considered President and in power (even if there is tine before the swearing in ceremony)

This allows for a smooth transition of power

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

thing is, 22A forbids him from _being elected_, not _serving_

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twenty-second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution#Text

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

100% this. GOP is boldly breaking laws now. If you asked in Jan 2025 if this was possible, I would say no.

But today..... if Trump is still alive in 2028, I expect Vance/Trump. If they win, Vance will be sworn in and immediately resign. Justice Roberts won't even leave the stage, he'll just pivot and swear Trump in.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What I'm saying is that by the letter of the law, it's not illegal at all, just a loophole. A healthy SCOTUS would rule that the spirit of the law is to prevent anyone from serving after their two periods by any means, but it shouldn't be necessary.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
