In the newest one (BF1) you can for sure on some rifles, on older BF games I'm not sure, but I think so.

In Bf1 you can only choose between 0,150 and 300m zeroing. There is no range finder.

rifle zeroed at 100 m hits center of crosshair at 100, zeroed at 800 hits center at 800. It compensates for bullet drop

In the gif the rangefinder says 840m. (right side), zero 100m (left side). If you put your zero on 800m, it takes care of the bullet drop.

aka you can just place your crosshairs on the enemy, and if zerod correctly you will hit him. I dont really now how to explain it better :P

You have to actually put some thought into bullet drop like an actual sniper, except it's not super hardcore calculations.

Yeah. I don't think there's any wind effecting the bullet so it's just timing it.

No wind, humidity, air pressure differentials. Game sniping is was way less intense than actual sniping.
