What they are doing is citing §111 to create the element of ‘forcibly interfering.’ They can’t just arrest people outright; citing the code first, combined with a warning, gives them legal permissibility to arrest. That doesn’t mean the charge would stick in court, but the arrest itself would be lawful.

Protests are already going on. And they've been happening more and more regularly with more and more people involved. I spent all three days of my last weekend protesting in front of federal buildings. I'm all for a strike. I can afford to do it. I'm comfortable enough with work, housing, food, transportation, etc. MANY others are not and it's a choice to have one or the other. Everyone already knows "it will be too late." That doesn't address the other nuances. It's not that simple for most.

And in case you hadn't seen in the news, citizens are now carrying weapons in the street openly and are being executed. Some need to step up for sure and I won't lie about that. But a ton of people are going above and beyond, just short of running into the meat grinder to leave their family and others who depend on them and their support behind.

A minority of Americans want it. But they have the political power and military backing. The rest of the country is doing what they can. Protesting. Calling/writing representatives. Holding signs over the interstate. Etc. Just recently they started dying for the cause. So while we haven't all taken up arms to go out and blindly run into the meat grinder, it doesn't mean we aren't doing anything. Part of the problem is that the media (and it's owners) is largely biased towards fascism.
