... temperature and atmospheric pressure scans. So after flight it doubles as a manned probe do gather some science at landing sites all over Kerbin.

The Vessel

The design is very similar to my Kerbalator 1 spacecraft (http://imgur.com/gallery/ZKMgy/new), with solar panels on "top" and heat radiators on the "bottom" of the craft, except it´s propelled by liquid fuel instead of RCS.

On the Launchpad

The Vessel is shielded by two fairings, one belongs to the upper stage and the other one is part of the Launch Escape System.
