No. We go to disneyland.

I just experienced this and they had one party
pronoun
If a gay guy beats his husband is that spousal abuse or did he just get his ass kicked?
Dgym
One of the best things about being gay is you get to make up the rules.
theprophettorn
Friends of mine shared a bachelor party, but they were a very non-traditional couple.
ipickupheavythings
yes, how is that confusing?
mdlnbth
Obviously?

The night before my wedding, I'd want to spend it with my fiancé. I'd want to enjoy our last moments together before taking our next step.
NickBlight
I guess it's technically not cheating if they fuck the same hooker at the same time right?
reelieuglie
Nah, just sex by proxy
mrhobbybob
Why not?
JDJersey
Yep.
PiGiSpi
As a gay, I wouldn't. Just seems like wasting twice as much money for no reason
Kyrorayne
Are you asking for a friend?
GuestChrist
Depends on whether the couple wants to follow that traditionally heterosexual custom. (And before you say it, marriage is a right, not a
traditionally heterosexual custom). My partner and I both would've felt stupid having bachelor parties or walking down an aisle
FergasaurusRex
Can confirm this. 2 guy mates of mine are getting married, separate bachelor parties.
saltyslug
Confirming this confirmation. Two gay as fuck chums of ours have different groups of friends and did their own things. Both were fabulous.
periwinklepanda
How do you decide who's to attend if you get invited to both?
Searic
They sometimes have them on different nights so that some friends can go to both if they want
luckily i know one much better than the other. But i guess you just choose.
Ah, makes sense.
funnyboy91
When you say you know one much better, are you implying you know his body better. wink wink
IRegistered
Yes. Bachelor/Bachelorette parties are supposed to be one last night away from your SO.
SticksBoundWithTwine
your logic is sound, but...
obsoleterubixcube
So like gay strippers, gay cocaine, and and FABULOUS drinks?
ITalkAboutGoats
That's rainblow?
fuckpuffins
do the same friends go to both?
dasklaus
If they have friends in common, likely. But that's already true for many heteros - no bachelor party I've been to was gender segregated.
It was a rhetorical question...
PhiIIipJFry
Most of my friends who have gotten married have had joint 'bachelor/bachelorette' parties.
Verschlimmbesserung
What does SO mean? Can guess the meaning but just to be sure (non native english speaker)
StonesOnTheHill
I wonder if it is more common for same sex couples to have the same group of friends than for different sex couples?
NexiKuro
I'd assume so, but mostly because queer communities are a thing and I figure they're pretty tightly knit.
tightly knit because we've all talked to each other on grindr at one point or another
ZedaZ80
I'm in a queer relationship. My spouse's friends basically absorbed me into their highschool friend group, our friends mostly overlapped in
college. In both cases, the queerer friend group won out as more tight knit. Never really thought about that.
Also, neither of us did a "bachelor/bachelorette party." We're both prude monogamists :P JK, we just weren't interested.
