Dungeons and Dragon Ball Mark 1.2| The first 6 races. Expect more in the future!

So, something you'll likely notice is that I get a bit experimental with mechanics as far as races get. I'm trying to push the boundaries just a little bit in an attempt to find a harmonious balance between flavor and mechanics. The first of these is the Frieza Clan Resilience. It's effectively an inverted Relentless Endurance (Half Orc and Orc Trait).

The only race with feats as of now. I didn't feel like I could justify putting out the Frieza race without addressing transformations, so here this is! The balance is still a bit wonky here, but flavorfully, I really like it! Definitely going to revise it in the future though, especially the final and golden forms.

Lore stuff. Not as proud about the composition of this one and it's the most recent brew, so the wording on some stuff is kinda off. But I still like it and I hope you do too!

Hahaha! I love how Buu looks like he's trying to read it here. One of my favorite pages. This is among the most experimental of the brews for sure. Mimicry is my way way to try and make a completely new way for spellcasting in 5e, but it is untested and I think the wording could be touched up. Any help with that would be really appreciated! Absorption is another experimental trait. I think the balance is fine for the most part, but again, it's untested and could likely be worded just a bit better. Still, I'm really happy with how the Majin turned out!

Regeneration is another experimental trait. I've never been a fan of the effect of regrowing limbs being locked at 7th level while a spell that can pull someone's soul back into their body is available as early as 3rd. But, since I can't change how WotC designed it, I balanced it around hit dice and exhaustion. It also cannot heal you, which I think fits the series pretty well. I think this is also a good time to talk about exhaustion as a mechanic regarding these brews. I intend to use it pretty often since it's something common within the series. On top of that, I also believe exhaustion is underused in 5e and want to rectify that issue. It's kind of just there right now as far as most campaigns are concerned.

I'm not super experienced with monster design, so I mostly took the pseudodragon and reskinned it for this. Any pointers here would be great!

My absolute favorite page. I am really proud of the page composition here. Some more experimental features here. Saiyan instinct is a bit atypical, but I don't think it's that far out for a 5e feature. Prehensile Tail is effectively a reskinned, short range version of mage hand. And then...Oozaru. The giant ape in the room. Still working on the balance here, to be honest.

Mutant saiyan is a bit stronger, but eh. I like the lore of it and I don't think it's too far off. I mean, Yuan-ti exist. Half saiyan is, again, experimental. Rage boost is pretty strong, but I really don't know by how much. Numbers wise, I don't think it's that much, but it is a consistent and sure bonus. I'll definitely have to give this one some more though. The flavor is a near hit, but I don't think it's on point yet. And the stat block for the Oozaru is still under development.

Telepathy (King Kai), two skill proficiencies, and misty step on short or long rest at 3rd level. It's a relatively strong brew, but not busted. I really think the lore of the mechanics hits well here.

This page has consistently given me trouble. I need to go back and edit it a bit. His hand is too close, argh! But yeah, some more experimental mechanics. Manipulate times is another attempt at a spellcasting variant for 5e. Attuned to the flow is effectively a part of a feat, but the flavor is nice. And, outside of the Ooozaru trait and the Majin stuff, Time-Skip is probably my most experimental as far as where the power may be. I really don't know on this one without playtesting it. It reads decently balanced because of the reduced movespeed and the tabaxi speed burst drawback. But it is still disengage on movement as a racial feature. We'll see how this one goes. It might stay, it might not.
