I hate to admit this, but I pushed back my first coffee a few hours and instead start with a room temperature water and Iso-Gatorade like mix first thing. Its actually helped me get moving early better than slamming all the coffee I used to. I still drink 4-5 cups over the day, but it's not my wake up and live kind of thing anymore.

I’ve been traveling for work a lot, and I do not use the in-room coffee makers…coffee was a Problem. I didn’t want to appear at breakfast without being dressed and made up, but getting through my morning routine uncaffeinated was awful. Caffeine pills have been a game-changer. I take one, which is the equivalent of a cup of coffee, get ready, get breakfast and a cup of real coffee, and I’m ready for my day.
