As a female that survived a violent SA that left me for dead next to some train tracks and while in recovery (physically and mentally) found out I was pregnant. I do not share this with anyone outside of my family (my son is 29 now and does know as I don’t hide anything from my children but makes sure that he knows that he is loved beyond measure) but I got justice. WTF HAPPENED TO US?! When will this end? I’m so saddened by who we are and what they allow..please know that in spite of all this- I do still keep hope and love alive by “looking for the helpers” *EDIT* after reading comments I see that these are not American Judges. My apologies for not noticing- I’ll still die on this hill.

#1 Patrick Rose served as head of the Boston police union and raped kids for decades, while the department and union abused their power to keep investigations suppressed, now tell me ACAB isn't real

These make me so angry. I am also angry of this habit of basing the sentence on how much the victim appeared to suffer. If a victim bounces back or is trapped in their trauma should make no difference to the guilt of the perpetrator.

One of my rapist was arrested on other charges and I was to young to understand what had happened to me and the family that knew simply mocked me for being "gay" at 6 instead of going to the cops. By the time he got out I had finally understood what happened but felt he already served enough time (10ish years iirc). But I've kept an ear to the ground and will 100% be on his ass and testifying in court if he hasn't reformed. Honestly the fact that a baby sitter ignored obvious SA was worse.

And this is even if it gets to court, and not dismissed out of hand by the police before anyone is even arrested.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or dismiss it out of hand and come up with something to charge you with, to I guess "put you in your place" or some crap.

This reminds me of a podcast called "The Crime Machine", which is about CompStat, the system used by NY Police to track crime. They want to reduce crime, and one way of doing this, is by not reporting it. So one time police were called to the scene of SA, in an alley. And the lady came out and said very deliberately "a male SA'd me...." and included other various details, which were to be treated as keywords. Which must result in a report being drafted.. She had been SA'd before, and due to >

these keywords not being used at the scene of the crime, or in the attempt to report the crime. The police wouldn't pursue the crime... It's fucking bleak, where not reporting a crime is an option, so it looks good for your quarterly report.

Any judge that rules like this should he strung up by their nuts around the court house and be beaten with sticks

1 year ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 1

Look at the judge who *repeatedly* did it! That Hutton monster is on the list 3 times!

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

These judges need to be named and shamed

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

they can be named, sure, but they lack a vital component that is required for them to be "shamed"

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This kind of stuff will happen until judges fear the repercussions of their actions. Extrajudicial justice exists for a reason.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Let me add my own experience:
1. "Don't be ridiculous. You're a man you must have enjoyed it." Said by the both rape crisis line operator (a woman).
2. "That cannot have happened. If it did happen, you must have done it, so we're going to arrest you." Said by the officer to whom I reported the event.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"Some women don't appreciate this sort of attention, but some women are Jezebels, and invite this sort of behavior." Judge Duley, Nome, AK. She was 8, and had cut herself all over her body trying to take off the skin he'd touched. Another gem, during a DV trial, to the jury: "I'd smack her if I thought it would make her talk louder."

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sounds like Mr. Hutton has a fondness for rapists. Wonder why.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

He fell asleep during a rape case, set a heroin dealer free and sentenced a 76 year old woman. Thank fuck he’s dead https://www.theguardian.com/world/2003/dec/16/law.ukcrime

I had to sit across the table from my abuser for years at family gatherings and was told to keep my mouth shut because no one wanted to “hear the drama” and I would just “get over it” if I stopped talking about my assault.

I will never understand why people protect abusers.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So... the "not American" part of this. Every single judge quoted is from the UK, which is not part of America.

I am a survivor of child sexual abuse. That 8 year old hasn't suffered? Was that judge my mother?

Yeah, fuck every single one of these courts. Society makes it incredibly difficult to report rape to begin with. This shit just makes you feel like it really isn't worth all the hassle you know you'll get for it.

1 year ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

And this is if you can even get the police to believe you, and do the requisite paperwork.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Out of every 1000 sexual assaults, only about 300 are reported to police. Only 50 lead to an arrest. Only 25 will be convicted and incarcerated for any length of time. 25 out of 1000. That's less than 3% of sexual assaults. It is one of the most underreported crimes, if not the most. I believe these stats were from 2019. https://rainn.org/statistics/criminal-justice-system

My best friend was drugged,SA and raped in 2021. She went to the police and they did not help her since she had alcohol in her system. The rapist denied touching her. Once a rape kit was collected. The rapist changed his story and claimed it was consensual. When she told the public about the SA/rape. The rapist claimed to be a born again Christian/recovering alcoholic and that his past is not his fault. He said it’s not his fault cause of alcohol. I hate people who hide behind religion

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

"It's not his fault cause of alcohol." Let's see him get out of a DUI because of that. You're responsible for your actions when drunk, which is why you shouldn't drink. It's good to get clean, but people in AA ask for forgiveness and atone for their actions, not deny responsibility for what they did while drinking.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Da fuck

1 year ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

My daughter at 16 years old was SA. It was a group of boys. The DA will not try them because he is too busy with "real" cases.

There's also cases like the cop who sexually assaulted an underage girl he met when she reported being sexually assaulted by another man. https://www.justice.gov/archives/opa/pr/former-new-orleans-police-officer-sentenced-sexually-assaulting-15-year-old-girl

Let us never forget that Brock Turner the rapist served 3 months of his 6-month sentence for good behavior.

1 year ago | Likes 576 Dislikes 2

You refer to The Rapist Brock Turner AKA Allen Turner The Rapist. Be nice, say it twice.

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

And don't forget that Serial Rapist Bowen Turner who got 5 years probation after raping 3 women in 3 separate counties and brutalized them. Mind you he raped more after the first occasion and the attorney and Judge seemed to deal him one came out during the trial, and another later killed herself.
https://www.fitsnews.com/2022/04/13/what-went-wrong-in-the-sc-case-against-accused-rapist-bowen-turner/

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's: a good behaviour gives him 3 months off prison sentence, but somehow not: extremely horrific behaviour gives him 3 months prison. Let that sink in.

Bonus: I wonder if he had shown that good behaviour if they had thrown in a subconscious female in his prison cell! Gotta have a fair test for what goes as a criteria./S

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Brock Turner now goes by Brock Allen Turner just in case we forget that he's a rapist who raped a virgin behind a dumpster and ruined her life and scarred her forever, but don't worry his dad said it was just 20 minutes of action.

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Did he take 19.5 minutes to catch his breath after struggling to rape some poor girl?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You mean Brock Turner the rapist who now goes by the name Allen Turner and lives in Dayton, Ohio?

1 year ago | Likes 169 Dislikes 0

Innocent but accused black men have received significantly harder sentences than turner.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Wait, you mean the Allen Turner in Dayton, OH is really Brock Turner, the rapist.

1 year ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Yes, Brock Turner the rapist, aka, Allen Turner the rapist from Dayton, OH, is in fact Brock Turner the rapist, aka, Allen Turner the rapist from Dayton, OK. The rapist. He's a rapist.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Correct, Brock Turner the rapist and Allen Turner the rapist are in fact the same person.

1 year ago | Likes 91 Dislikes 0

Allen 'Brock The Rapist Turner' Turner.

1 year ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 0

Thanks for clarifying that Brock Turner, the rapist, and Allen Turner, the rapist, are the same individual, I wasn't sure.

1 year ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

This is horrible. However, the accusation that these things all happened in America is false. #3 I have to assume that someone named "Sir Kenneth Jupp" is not American. #2 - Also not American. #4, #5 and #6 Turns out Judge Gabriel Hutton is also not American, These are mostly British judges.

1 year ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 6

Doesn't matter. As long as OP gets everyone into a frothing rage the lies aren't important.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 34

These things were said and done in court. The only false thing is where they took place. I'm sure there are plenty of similar examples of rapists being let off in the US too (Looking at YOU Brock Turner), but these judges weren't American.

1 year ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

I have little doubt you are correct, but once someone starts titling the details to make their case, how do to trust anything they say without verification? OP Implied, at the very least, that these statements were made by judges in America. As you pointed out, that was a misrepresentation, at best. OP is using these statements to demonize the US, something that shouldn't be necessary to lie about given the state we're in now.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 15

Well, I was able to Google at least a couple of these. It is odd when people try to spin something else out of a story though.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

#7 Also British. I think these are all British Judges. https://www.falserapetimeline.org/false-rape-3346.pdf

1 year ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Appreciate the accuracy (seriously - facts matter, to me) but wow - how sad!

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

A friend cancelled their holiday in the US this year, I asked her why and she said, "They have no laws there to protect my girls." She made it clear that she and her husband considered the risk to their family was too high, her girls are 6 and 8. I would die of shame if anyone said that about my country and we are certainly not perfect.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Sir Kenneth Jupp is a British Judge ( not American )

Try to convince me the system isn't a big part of the problem. Sickening.

1 year ago | Likes 326 Dislikes 2

weren't every single one of the judges (in this thread) men? I assume that most women judges would not do this? really starts to formulate a hypothesis about the qualifications of male judges

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One of my aunts who ran a daycare ignore obvious signs of SA and instead mocked me and encouraged her child to bully me for being "gay" at 6 years old. The system is as broken as it is due to the people who exist within it. A broken system is just a symptom of a sick society.

1 year ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

hey, I am sorry that happened to you

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can relate. My own mother studied early childhood education at uni and ignored all the signs of the abuse I'd experienced which produced what I now know to be textbook manifestations of the trauma...

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

The problem with the system is it's ran by people, and we've learned a lot of people are absolute scum

1 year ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 4

In the Netherlands it is also run by people. But with different outcomes. If you rape a child the chances are enormous that you land into jail.

1 year ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

You just sent a child rapist to the olympics, Van De Velde. Sit the fuck down.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had to look this one up. He went to jail for 2 years. Sending him to the Olympics was not a decision from a judge…

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You had to look that up? You don't watch the news? It was a pretty big deal during the olympics. And yeah, he went to jail for ONLY TWO YEARS, for VIOLENTLY RAPING A MINOR.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#7 British. I think these are all British Judges. https://www.falserapetimeline.org/false-rape-3346.pdf

Using the word "tap" in that context was a clue.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It seems the post's name is deliberately misleading.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't worry, there are as many, if not more, in the states. Ask Brock Turner's victim.

Judge Hutton is definitely British, he also fell asleep during a trial.

so sorry my love

That's insane, and I'm sorry it happened. Sounds like a lawsuit. But I absolutely understand whatever choice a victim makes.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It was a long time ago now and the asshole died of something unrelated so nothing that can really be done. He was my mothers' abusive boyfriend.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You can piss and/or dance on his grave. If you do both probably do them in the reverse order I listed.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did one better but I'm not gonna say it here because it's kinda disgusting.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good for you! It's amazingly cathartic isn't it?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry that you went through that, and I hope you've healed and fully believe that none of that was your fault.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I've had plenty of time to sort myself out. I used to think it was my fault, that I must've done something to provoke it but the longer time went on and the more I reflected on it the more I couldn't find anything. Like I can't fault myself for merely existing.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As someone who beat the everloving FUCK out of an ex-girlfriends rapist, I did it because the system refused to prosecute him. It felt absolutely amazing. Even better that I was never caught.

Here in the rural south, more than one abuser suffered fatal tractor accidents alone out in their field. That was back in the days of small farmers, though.
