And on he and his husband’s first date, he told him how grave & sympathetic people around him had gotten since his diagnosis, and he wished someone would prank him like he was normal. Soon to be Husband understood the mission, and they got married soon after. :-)
This reeks of those tik toks that fake having a condition for clicks. IDK much about how blind folk behave but do they often make eye contact with the things they're focusing on like looking at the partner then looking down at their glass? Also straws shift all the time on their own would they not just be aware of that?
I have 3 blind friends, they call themselves 'Blinkies' and lots of fun. One only sees negative, she gradually lost her sight since birth but has memories of colour and shapes so on bright sunny days she has to wear really dark glasses and has a guide dog, the other only has pin hole sight from birth, and the other sees fireworks 24/7 and was a photographer and surfer before loosing his sight. I take them places they can't get to and describe everything. Stairs are usually a laugh for us all.
Having grown up with fully functional sight here: Please still do not move furniture around the house even mere centimeters, my toes have been stubbed enough.
I remember it being a coming of age story. There was this one D list actor who’s clearly almost 40 but was playing a 22 year old dumbass, and he’s the one being shushed.
