Don't forget to lock your windows, Juliet. That's how ogres get in. They're not like vampires. No knocking or invitation required.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Shrek don't play that shit.....

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is there a way to up vote twice?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Link is about to taste the onions.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So how long until someone mods Breath of the Wild to be Vanilla Skyrim, just for the sheer fuckery of it.

8 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 2

I heard that Bethesda themselves are working on that mod to run on the switch.

They already have a working SWITCH emulator? Dang...

8 years ago | Likes 360 Dislikes 21

yo whys this getting upvotes

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Cemu is a wii u emulator, but it is single threaded so computers need a high clockrate as it emulates PowerPC so even more performance need

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Roommate had the emulator within the first week of Zelda release

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Pikmin 3, here I come!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's CEMU, a wii u emulator

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cemu is a Wii U emulator. There's currently no decently-functioning switch emulator, but we'll probably have one within a year.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

I know what I am doing when I get home!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's most likely Cemu, which is a wii u emulator

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

any links please.... for a friend...hes a pirate

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkK9IVQAjXc full setup guide, gets a bit more tricky if you want to use keyboard and mouse.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I got you: https://goo.gl/u5Hw2j

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just by putting Cemu on google you could've found out that it is a wii u emulator...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 14

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I’ve never used an emulator. What’s the point and draw?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also CEMU in particular needs a high clockrate as it is single threaded and it emulates PowerPC

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cemu is not the simplest to set up, especially if you are using keyboard and mouse like me. I recommend you look up a setup tutorial if keen

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

PowerPC was necessary to ensure backwards compatibility with the original Wii

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Generally you use an emulator to play older games that are hard to find. Or to play console games on your PC. Or to be a pirate.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This is the first time I'm using one for piracy.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Pretty sure it's a Wii U emulator. I could be wrong, though.

8 years ago | Likes 255 Dislikes 1

I can tell from the shading it's wii u. Waited years for this game only to be handed a hand me down from the switch to the U.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

The HUD icons where you can switch your sword/shield/rune indicate it's the Wii U version.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It is.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

It is. It's called Cemu.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

does wii u have backwards compatibility? i would love to play some of the old wii classics

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes you can play wii games on the wii u

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That would make more sense

8 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 0

Not wrong. It's a wii-u emulator.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Still, impressive

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Fuck yeah it is.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They got the game ready like 2 weeks after the official release

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ready... not quite. Parts of it were playable but it spent a month trying to get passed the menu screen. Not sure how it is now.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I won a switch on a twitter game with a miserable pun so I plat it on switch, don’t know much about the cemu version

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On cemu 1.9 it runs almost perfectly, only fps drops are if you are still building a shader cache

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dot

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a Wii U emulator. The devs got so much money from patreon just to make this game run on it. Same goes for RPSC3 and Persona 5.

Is RPSC3 a ps3 emulator?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, and Atlus had a pissy fit because Persona 5 is running mostly smooth on the emulator with an i5 and a decent GPU.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yup. It's still in development, which means it's not perfect but some games do play.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

what is the one called?

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Cenu I think

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Close, It's Cemu.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cemu, you can see it on top-left

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Best use of dot

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Is it optimized at all yet?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I get constant 30 Fps (It's Locked at thirty) have to do some stuff to get rid of stutters

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

now it's only so long before we get people telling us not to buy switches and to just buy raspberry pis and emulate this now too

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 5

Lol you truly have no idea how emulators work huh

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 14

missed the joke

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

in order to emulate the newer consoles you need some decently beefy hardware. The Cemu for instance to get breath working a good levels--

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Exactly, these games are optimized for very specific hardware, your computer will have to pick up the slack.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

needs things like an i7, or really well OC'ed i5. 16+ GB RAM, a good video card like a 1060+ (or RX 480.) pies just dont have the power.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

A pi3 can almost run dolphin, cenu is extremely badly optimized so far. Once it is the difference won't be THAT big.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No way mate, Cemu is very resource intensive, people without Kaby Lake CPUs are struggling to hit 30fps

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

*Almost run.* The Pi 3 can barely run an N64 emulator without overclocking.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The difference will be huge. A Wii U has decently modern hardware. A Wii is two gamecubes strapped together. Literally 2001 tech.

As cool as that is, theres no way that could, in real time, render Cemu games well. But, it is a rather cool looking project.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Def the guys I pictured that would build some bullshit like that

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its WiiU, but still (reportedly) runs BotW "best". Switch's version is only higher Res, but still choppy sometimes. /watch?v=S7JZL52U6Hw

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Cemu will run BoTW but not at the best frame rate. I've got a beast of a pc and 24fps is my average walking around. 60 in menus.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Intel tends to have better single core performance than AMD, where AMD relies on more cores to be competitive with Intel.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did not test myself. But seems to run smoothly? Considering 4k /watch?v=4wxzFczQ98c My WiiU version gets <20 fps sometimes, e.g. Kakariko.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's heavily CPU dependant.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I mean, it is single threaded. So anything Intel with a stupid high clockrate.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Using an i7 6800 now and getting the same performance I had with my i7 3770. I might just wait a year or two and pick up a switch cheap.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I planned on grabbing an old dell precision t3400 and a c2qx as they are rather cheap now. That plus a 660 or a 660ti will make the cheapest

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

gaming ring you can find for under 100 bucks. Also, the precision has the intel x38 chipset, which is overclockable.
