My mom has dogs on her route she loves but has also been severely attacked. Owners, if your dog is aggressive, dnt deny it pls keep them in.

One of the mailmen that comes by my house is afraid of my 9 pound taco bell dog mix. Let alone my Lab. I hate to think what happened 2 him.

My bulldog jumps into UPS guy's truck for the treats she knows he has. Someday, a UPS man will be able to loot my entire house.

It's almost as if dogs cant be friendly especially to a person they smell and see every single day.

I think the whole "dogs hate mail carriers" thing comes from psychotic little yappy dogs, not normal sized dogs :)

I think it comes from proper guard dogs. My parents dog will let them know about any living being comming or going from the farm.

According to my mail carrying father, this is largely true. I imagine it's because owners of smaller dogs don't perceive them as a [1]

threat to others so they never bother correcting aggressive behavior. [2]

1) Mom (walking&driving route) got mauled by a bigger dog on her route. She asked owner to keep him in. Owner said he wasnt aggressive.

My dad's never been mauled but yeah, big dogs attack sometimes as well. Just more frequent with the smaller ones, in his experience.

2) dog fucked up her hand/wrist. Owner denied it ever happening, even w/hospital trip. Dsnt matter size, if owners a cunt, dogs a cunt

But I suspect it does matter because, like I said, smaller dogs are less likely to be perceived as a threat by their owners. I'm not [1]

people assume the dog's small size make it not a threat and don't train it properly. [3]
