The worst part is the burning and draining. Ibuprofen helps.

The draining was my favorite part! It's partly why I got it...

MRSA?

A type of staph infection that is resistant to many antibiotics.

As someone who is totally ecstatic over the ban on anti-microbial bull shit that is fed to us on a daily basis, I'm sorry OP

I am too. I think anti stuff is too widely accepted and too misunderstood. I've struggled with bacterial infections my whole life. Dial soap

As someone with MRSA holes/scars on his thigh & nose, this seems accurate. Do you also have missing muscle beneath the scar? =\

Ouch that sucks I'm sorry. I also have them on my face and body. This is just the one that started it. I'm not missing muscle thankfully,

All over? I've only got two, but 8yrs later the one on my thigh still has a soft spot beneath it that I can more-or-less fit a fingertip in.

Because it's directly to the left of my knee cap, but I have absolutely no nerves left in the area and dislocate my kneecap often!

Yeah, the nerve damage is unreal, my right nostril has like zero feeling. Sorry bout yer knee. =\
