Had to read as a child. Just a lot of begots or begats is mostly what I remember.

It actually has a lot more to say about shellfish than homosexuality. I never was sure why that part got so much focus.

Most shellfish cant be eaten and cooking technique is different and other issues, people just got tired of dealing with poisoning and shit.
I think because Moses and his people spent 40 years in the desert. Any shellfish they found must've been spoiled as hell.
I have to admit I had not considered that before...
But what I meant was I never understood why the one line about gays in leviticus gets so much hype amongst all the other crazy rules.

+1. People (myself incl. sometimes) tend to find the points that fit their agenda, and try to ignore the rest.
I guess? I'm just trying to figure out how that became the agenda. Especially since so many have no other reason than "bible says no"
